' then' was actually 'demo 1' which the 1st demo he put in his Soundcloud after that incident. The song that gave fans hope he will come back. It was the song whoever supports him when he was in the lowest. Back then we couldn't see him, his demo in Soundcloud are our comfort place knowing he will return. Rebirth is song just because he missed his fans. You should watch Re-birth lyric video, it is so heart-warming

Hanbin is known to write sad songs without being in a relationship till date. This guy's being single all his life if you watch more ikon stuff you'll know.

The song "THEN" was dropped as a demo without instrumentals since about JAN 2020 a little while after their break up. B.I has been dropping demos back then after his break up with iKON and the demo of "THEN" was my favorite that's why i remember this. I'm sure that he is talking about iKON in "THEN".
My favorite in this album is "ILLUSION" and "RE-BIRTH".
Hanbin mentioned that THEN is for his fans and that he used the music equipment that his fans sent him to make this song.

Rebirth is dedicated to fans and was released the day Hanbin announced our fandom name as ID (we knew this song before the album was released) He released Rebirth under IDs name so you won’t find it in his song list in Spotify. It’s under the name ID (album is called Be Identity). You should also check out the Rebirth lyric video in Hanbin’s channel, it’s so sweet.

One thing that Hanbin and Tablo has are good damn lyrics ~ Tablo has more darker concept when it comes to his lyrics while Hanbin writes like a poem, so somewhat its raw and delicate at the same time ~

Hai..thank you for reacting Waterfall album. It is indeed a no skip album. Actually, BI dropped "Then " as "Demo1" in souncloud on Jan 2020, a demo without instrument. It's the first demo that he dropped after what happened, and it was the song that gave us, BI fans, an assurance that someday he will be back doing music again. Its such a precious song to us. And the song actually was about the fans.
For re-birth, BI released it on April 15, 2021 under ID's name. Its a fansong, a song that commemorate the birth of ID, his fandom name. And yes, the song is so sweet and baeutiful. I hope you can check re-birth video lyrics from his channel. Its from Dear ID event that he create for us, fans, to comnunicate with him. Its sweet and touching🥰❤
Re-birth is also my favorite. It would be very great if he can sing it with a live orchestra. All the songs he made is personal and from the heart so you can feel his sincerety.
Hanbin said before that he likes to write sad songs with happy melodies, so yes, we understand you 😅
Ammy saying this is a no-skip album, no lies detected. Glad that it's not just fans who say that. B.I's album is getting amazing reviews from fans and nonfans. They actually made short track films for all bsides before the album release. I hope you can really get his physical album too. It's a bit pricey but it's definitely worth it. The quality is really good and the photos are amazing
You know, it's like.. you stanning a group and can't choose who your bias is but there're always one or two of them that hold a special place in your heart...YES, this is that type of album...for me illa illa and Gray hold a special feel in my heart though I love the album sooo much. The wait is really worth it Ammy, this album is the number one album for me this year.

Remember Me is about the heffers who said a lot of crap before unstanning like he was nothing and how he was hurt. Ad libs I caught in the background he said 'how could you do this' and 'I hurt' I think

He's a Songwriter of the Year 2018, so there's no doubt his lyrics is so good & one more thing is it's very relatable to some of us in some ways.. My favourite is illa illa, numb,help me,remember me,then and re-birth. Lol cant choose 😂 but the flow of this album is my favourite. the flow started with waterfall that start with falling and then it flows like water until re-birth. You got what i mean ?😂 i dont know how to explain,but the album is literally a waterfall. Btw thank you for reacting to bi,he literally a genius and so far the best artist i've ever know 😭✋

idk if anyone already told you, but in Remember me, when there are these back vocal like conversation in the 2nd verse, the first line is just him repeating the lyrics, but in the next line, it goes like this:
the lyrics: when you said such harsh things
the back voice: 'did you need to say something like that?' or 'did you need to say it?'
the lyrics: in that beautiful mouth
the back voice: it hurts
I really enjoyed your reaction and I totally get you that the songs are different but they flow and connect perfectly. The album is simply perfect and beautiful. Also Hanbin never had a girlfriend since birth hehe (no one knows during his hiatus tho) but he is so poetic and an effective lyricist that he knows how to portray emotions and tell stories he has not personally experience yet. Love scenario for example it was inspired from a movie. But on this new album it's mostly based on his struggles during hiatus and about fans especially those who stayed. 💕

THEN is Demo1, He uploaded in SoundCloud (20200102) For the first time since 20190612.. it's not about his ex group. You know he loves his fans so much.. he afraid his fan leaves him. And Re-birth is fan song. He realised 15th April just because he miss his fans. And the same day, he announcement his fandom name ID. All his song on WATERFALL album is about him..

Re-birth is for fans. For ID'S who signed to for his 1st Official Fan Club, they even got a packet of Cosmos flower seeds.... Because he said we can be reborn as a flower and he'll always be with us as the wind. And the 1st Fan event he had for ID'S was to invite ID'S to a room full of flowers and pictures... flowers he arranged himself. He is so thoughtful in everything.
