Just saw your video for the first time in Conversation with Oloye Aikulola. Very inspiring. I have been teaching myself yoruba but biggest issue has been the lack of encouragement and my ego. I have promised myself to push past this and you have now strengthened my resolve to push on. Thanks for your video share. Excellent. Thanks for your spirit of sharing and helping.
If I may also add, another issue that hinders our learning Yoruba is the fact that we may need to unlearn some of the ways we have spoken. for instance, in English we write "cotton"
but we pronounce it "cot'n". This is totally wrong in Yoruba as every letter is fully pronounced.
