Great post, thanks! Another reason for using parallel is if and/or when I want to keep the different effects’ characteristics separate. I was skeptical of this when I first heard about it; coming from the amp/pedal world, but I do find that it makes a difference. Fact is that I tend to go linear most of the time, though. And I do like that you’ve shown how to keep the trails happening. Awesome unit, the FM9!
