There's a huge history of pirates in st Thomas. The island across from where your port was is called water island. There was a fresh source of water on the island that pirates would use and intercept ships leaving st Thomas. Also, if you ever go back, I recommend taking one of the boat rides that goes to honeymoon beach on water island. It's beautiful.

I love going to the formal dining for dinner. A lot of people sleep on it but it’s one of the best parts of a Cruise in my opinion. The waiters are so fun and friendly and really get to know what you like. They will have treats and surprises sent to your room if they know you’ll want them. They will go above and beyond to make you happy. I’ve had waiters get off menu foods made special for us just because they heard we were curious about it. Plus the quality of the food is great you’re gonna get more of the value back there than the buffet.
Conch taste best raw. It’s just a big snail. When I was a boy and my family and my best friend traveled to the Bahamas. We dove into the ocean and caught the conch snails. We will pull them out of their shells and eat them raw. They tasted fantastic. The shells are gray. And the snails are gray. If you ever eat a colorful snail from the ocean it is more than likely poisonous.
🌴 when I'm gonna on royal Caribbean website & before I call them. When I tell people that the places in the Caribbean that I'm going to that's when I always say 🌊.

Unfortunately I got robbed out there & got my gold chain snatched but I wouldn’t take it back for anything now, great story & memory! Barefoot Buddha is quite close to the cable cars. Barefoot Buddha is very wholesome food, with great smoothies, the resturant has a lovely clothes boutique attached to it. You may find a lot of cruise ship workers getting their WiFi there.

But generally it isn’t monitored what kind of shark most people actually sell and get served to eat, so as a general rule it’s usually safer to just avoid shark all together! Especially since shark meat contains high levels of mercury, which can be very dangerous! I’m a conservation scientist so it’s just something I like to share to help educate people! And I wouldn’t want anything to happen to you guys!! I love your videos so much. You’re national treasures, like the comment said in your live the other day, and I want you safe haha

🌴......years past the cruise ships would dock overnight at some ports to enjoy the nightlife. St. Thomas, Nassau- Bahamas, and Puerto Rico were some of the ports along with maybe others I'm not aware of.

Kitra, next time in FL, go the Frenchy’s Rockaway on Clearwater Beach. They have several restaurants but this one is ON the beach. They have their own fishing fleet so the fish is caught that morning or the day before. Order the “She Crab Soup”, a fried or grilled “Grouper Sandwich” and a “Bushwacker”. Peter, they have landlubber food too! My husband is a native Floridian and I lived there for 18 years. We miss it, Frenchy’s is one reason, Disney the other. We had to move due to the heat and humidity, my health issues couldn’t take it anymore. Anyway, you won’t be disappointed! (Coco Lopez is cream of coconut w sugar cane)

We did an RCI cruise for our anniversary. We had the dining package and went to Chops like 3 times! They loved us there. But, the main dining room is also really really good!
Since this was our first royal cruise we’ve destined in our UA-cam channel we wanted to feature all the specialty dining instead of eating at the same location every night. We’ve also heard nothing but good things about main dining

We did an RCI cruise for our anniversary. We had the dining package and went to Chops like 3 times! They loved us there. But, the main dining room is also really really good!
Since this was our first royal cruise we’ve destined in our UA-cam channel we wanted to feature all the specialty dining instead of eating at the same location every night. We’ve also heard nothing but good things about main dining
People seem to really love chops. I think we like Jamie’s a little bit better

Coco Lopez is coconut milk cream,but unlike some coconut milk creams that one is special for mixed drinks because is sweet great for Piña Coladas mix malibu rum,pineapple juice, coco lopez and ice on a blender and you will have a great day.😋🍍🥥🍹🌴🌊

Truffle tastes too earthy to me, almost like dirt, but i love mushrooms they are so savory and delicious! Those steaks made my mouth water!
