@@cletonaltenor6626sadly there is no clear strategy for this, its mostly luck. The most common strategy is sitting in a corner of the map, waiting for his footsteps to approach you and then taking the picture but this can be quite unreliable as sometimes he’ll simply refuse to approach you. I believe i ended up just clicking randomly and taking pictures and somehow winning.
@@cletonaltenor6626 not sure if you already beat Eyeless Jack challenge but if you didn't here's a trick. You have to turn up the brightness of your screen because when Jack is near you the screen turns pitch-black and you have to take a picture. The other thing is that you have to go to one of the corners (mainly the top left corner) and take picture every 3-5 seconds until Jack appears and you take the 5 pictures. Sometimes this may not work because Jack may not appear all the time but it worked for me at least, i hope it helps
Here's a tip: When you hear footsteps, follow the direction from where you hear them, the louder the footsteps are, the nearer he is, and when you are in the same room as him, the screen will get really dark and you wont hear footsteps anymore, thats the moment when you have to flash him!
don't know if you're still struggling, but I don't blame you if you are, as the timing can be very weird and stressful at times. What helped me chase him down, besides memorizing how to change directions more effectively (flashing often when he's not around and memorizing how fast the camera turns when you move the mouse.), was remembering that his footsteps need to be loud and clear. The closer you get to him, the less muffled his footsteps are, and when judging what time to flash him can be hard, just try and remember the sound cue of him stepping loudly and catch him with the flash before he gets you from getting too close! Oh, and if you flash too early, you're not exactly dead. You can outrun him more often than not, and you will hear when he stops giving chase, too.
@hexospikez741 it also helps to turn around if you hear his steps becoming quiet. And if you're at an intersection it helps to listen for where the footsteps are by spinning. HEADSET IS ESSENTIAL.
