So what do you do if when you pick Line label styles and there are no default label styles? Mine has one selection: Standard. There is no "Bearing and distance", etc. Nothing else. Same under Curve label styles.
If you only have standard you can either copy and create your own, or try finding a template to use other than the current default. When you go to new there should be a NCS imperial style that will give you more to start with. If you still have trouble will share a link to one for you to start with.

The hard part is once you click on the ... button click on the text on the right hand side, then change values on the left, but before you exit click on right arrow at the top to move your changes over.
Once you have all your settings and styles set to your liking you gonto save as, and switch the drawing type to DWT. Then when ever you start a new drawing select the template you saved to start with.

There are a few ways to accomplish this, probably the easiest is with utilizing description keyset
How do you want to add in the zero placeholder in bearings. For example N 01d 12' 23" E or N 25d 12' 04" W
It is under the precision, in the ellipse button. Will post a link to a picture when im.back in office.

Correct you can put the template on another computer or network drive and it will work.
