    Nice looking Kubota. I have a B7100HST and put a D950 engine in it. With a 5 foot blade a hyd. angle and hyd up and down nothing stands in its way.

    I have the four-wheel-drive Kubota B 6000 little two cylinder diesel,,, i’m getting ready to have my engine completely rebuilt soon these little older Kubota tractors are built like a tank they’re every bit as solid as a tractor was made back in the 1940s or 1950s they are solid hunks of iron

      @@diamond_industries Keep taking good care of it and your kids can use it in 30 yrs to plow snow with. I bet it will still be snowing then despite the global warming thing.

    Hi! Awesome tractor! Did you change the original ag tires? or did it come with those?

    • @diamond_industries
      @diamond_industries  Рік тому +1

      These are the original tires. At some point I may get a different pair for the woods and plowing but these have worked for 40 years so why try to reinvent the wheel. Haha

    May I make a suggestion ..? Now , you may plow differently when you're not trying to video the process but , I always lift the blade a small amount , once I leave the the driveway ....and push that stuff just as Far as is practical , to allow for all the snow that is sure to come ... { It helps if the snow held off for a while at the start of the season , and the cold temps had a chance to freeze the ground solid .... } Beats trying create more room , later in the season .. If the temps cooperate early enough , I'm able to create a " ramp " of sorts at the end of a run simply by gradually lifting the blade ..

    How and where do you connect the hydraulics?

    A little more aggressive tire and you won’t slip as much turf tires suck in the snow even with 4 wheel drive

    Nice video nice tractor just wondering I’m noticing that the plow goes up and down very slow is there anyway to speed it up just curious

    • @diamond_industries
      @diamond_industries  4 роки тому

      I dont believe so. Its always been that speed and it works for me so not need to worry about it until it stops working.

    Try some silicone on that plow blade when it dries. It helps the snow to slide off.

    Some chains and lunged front tires would improve your snow plowing in wetter snow.

    Inherited an 83 6100 from my father. Just restored it. Would love to know what type of plow that is. Need one bad. Oakland Maryland 120" avg snow.

      I will check the plow out to see if there are any stickers or markings left on it. All I know is it has been on there since it arrived at the house 40 years ago from the dealer. Haha

      @@diamond_industries will prob go with a PTO blower then. Everyone says the same on the loader.

    • @diamond_industries

      Quick Google search...looks like the blade is model KUFD110 dozer blade. Maybe you will get lucky and someone is parting one out close. Try tractorhouse.com. I usually see b5000 b6000 and b7000 parted out there quite often. Good luck!
