"This film is deeply moving and profoundly engaging. Indeed, it has the potential to transform lives because it provides visions of how we should live in the midst of massive environmental challenges. I cannot recommend it more highly!"-Mary Evelyn Tucker, Forum on Religion & Ecology at Yale

    Dear Craig,
Thank you for your comments. I think what we mean by Capitalism is the whole system; Economic growth at all costs - even if the cost is the destruction of our own (and all species) life support system, and you are correct that consumerism is what fuels the system. But consumers are also trapped in the system - it's difficult to disengage from the capitalistic system because there are (as yet) not enough alternative systems in place. Creating these new systems, community by community, is a solution that ordinary people like us can work toward. We hope that this film will inspire people to join the growing citizen's movement that will have the strength to say No to the suicidal system that is in the process of destryoing life on earth. Naomi Klein's book, This Changes Everything, is a wonderful summary of why we are in this mess. And yes, some of it, as you say, is our fault, but a great deal of it is not our fault - and certainly not the fault of people in the global south who are being most affected by the impacts of climate change and who are not anywhere on the radar as "consumers." And again, thank you for taking the time to comment. it 's very gratifying for us to know that even the trailer can provoke this kind of conversation.

What an outstanding "trailer" you have made!
Awesome! how succinctly you have presented the facts and invite us all to join in the process of solving the problem(s). How does something like this go "viral" ? (queried the granny with no techno-knowledge or skills ;-)
This trailer can change the whole course ... How can I help ? as a little ole lady with seemingly little to no influence or power, I wonder what can i do to put my love and passion for the planet and for all life, for equitable sharing and support, how can i put the feelings into action in a community who seemingly refuses to listen ... ??? I am so grateful to you young artists and activists for going ahead and doing it !!! HOORAY !!! for you and for the Creator who sent you to Earth at this time! ;-) All thanks to Yahuah ;-) !!!

At least communism/socialism tends to kill humans and disrupt human progress, regardless of weather or climate du jour. That must be a good thing!!!
