tbf, we didn't hear/see what was said exactly, but braiden did say that he told the other tank to go rein, not that they're gonna do a rein duel. so maybe it was a cheap trick or maybe it was a big brain move so they could counter

Having played on both PC and console, aiming and tracking is still much harder to pull off on console even with aim assist on

Aim assist on console is actually insane. My controller got unplugged during a match and I was playing bastion and with the controller unplugged, aim-assist had me tracking people with like an inch gap on the crosshairs. This only happened for like 3-4 seconds but it’s insane! No input and it managed to track someone

Love these PC/Console mixed videos. Instead of everyone just making their opinions about the best Overwatch 2 platform, Jay3 actually putting em to the test. So much continued potential.
I mean the "best" will always be a subjective way to look at it. Graphics, gameplay, etc. are a far better way of comparing the two and are less based on opinion.

Aim assist can even mess you up sometimes - I can't tell you how many times i was about to finish someone off that was low, only for aim assist to drag my crosshairs onto somebody close by
I recommend messing around with the aim assist window size specially if you playing hitscan
Thats why i had it turned off for the longest time then i started messing with it until i found what worked for me
Truu. Especially when i play ana i had to tweak my aim assist settings a bit because its much harder to heal allies when your crosshairs are drifting towards an enemy

With console vs GM leaning towards console every time, those PC players are going to be GM some day for sure. They gave them a GOOD push back.
That PC Masters communication is top tier. Especially the tank. Feel like comms made all the difference here.

Top 500 PC vs Console Grandmasters. This is what we need to see. Random ladders folks, not teams.
I feel like at that point consile loses. Tank on pc has way higher sensitivity than any console tank it's just going to be a tank diff.
Thats What its been….. ye sure some ppl had scrimed before but for example in the xbox vs ps t500, the Xbox teams dps and tank had scrimed but the supps were kinda bad tbh and just random t500s but they still win, the reason the gms look so bad this vid is bc they are complete ransoms and like gm5-gm3, while the other team was gm1s which is I HUGE difference

Rein on console is a whole different animal
When I was still playing in console, rein in my region was extremely popular even when he wasn't meta in PC. Tank players had to be good with rein, and they went against other rein players constantly.

Yzna use to be a console Rank 1 controller before he went to PC. I think his the only Controller player beside Hcpful who hit rank 1 with controller in pc and console
There was a lucio guy too back in ow1, i forgot his name. He was consold #1 with lucio and pc player kept telling him the only reason he can pull his rollout off was because gm console was diamond pc.
He proceeded to buy a cheap pc and made it to rank1 on pc in a week. Same with necros

I feel like what happens is the pc players are on their game at the start but the console players do this thing called "lock in" and I've only heard it while console gaming so i feel like that's what was happening when console would catch that flow

Alot of PC players have made the claim that gm for console=diamond on PC. Jay3 already tested PC vs console gm and wanted to put another myth to the test (aka milking a cashcow)

Baps ult can be really good but both teams used bap ult way too late. for example, if your team is at 90% and you have bap ult and the enemy team is coming from spawn to retake one last time. pop your bap ult at the same time if not before the enemy team tries to walk in. this will etiher make the enemy team scared of pushing bc of the shear amount of damage or they push regardless and some just die. on the other hand, bap ulting late after they already crossed the choke gives the enemy team the chance to close the gap and either force you out of your bap ult or just kill you. your bap ult had 0 value.

What’s up gang, im getting cooked in the comments here. so i’m braiden, i did ask for them to go rein with full intentions of going rein to play a mirror. but here’s what happened, i get in vc with the team to try and get a comp going with rein, unfortunately my team originally said we were not comfortable on things that fully went with rein so i called for zarya to play to my teams strengths.
i did eventually end up coming out on rein, but they also played the rein meta comp. we would’ve gotten slammed. i apologize to the people who are angry about this 😂
Glad we didn’t go rein though, we would’ve been curb stomped unless we also played sym bastion 😂
