- The Tamiya 1:48 scale Pershing. Another very nice kit.
It did have some minor issues going together, but it wasn't too tricky and didn't take too long.
Quite enjoyable, really.
Eventually this will be my glorious and mighty Purple Pershing. I'll try and remember to link that here when it's done!

17:15 that hatch is for throwing the empty casings out of the tank.
Regarding the metal hull and glue, I think they covered it with some plasticky coating that does react with ordinary plastic glue. It's been a while since I made one, but I never used superglue, just regular glue.
I really wish the Pershing got pressed into service earlier, I'd be really cool to see some more Pershing VS German Heavy action.

The wheel jokes are getting wheely tyred. Not wheely. We love them. We would miss them if they didn’t roll around at least once per video. The video would be a bit flat without them. wish this kit wasnt so damn hard to find in the uk, its a dream kit of mine.
Iv got a new tamyia mould Matilda mk 3 in a 1.48 scale here ordered wrong one lol but the detail is absolutely amazing! Only built up the hull and put it back in the box for another time really lost interest in it being a 1.48 it doesn't go with any om others and the road wheels were all in one! The detail is great and you wouldn't see the road wheels but wee things like that just put me off a build! I'll get round to it after the 15 kits iv got sitting waiting in front of it just now haha! On a British version of the Bofors anti aircraft gun and crew just now!
Herb you should have drilled out hull MG Barrel.

Tamiya 3x Pershing's in their line up starting at 1/48 up through 1/35 and the RC 1/16 version which is like a $1000.00!
