How to Join a Public Board or Commission in Massachusetts Information Session, June 27, 2024

On Thursday, June 27, YW Boston held our Parity on Board Information Session hosted by Ciara Gogan YW Advocacy Committee Member and Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging, at CarGurus. Our panelists included April English, Chief Secretary, at the Office of the Governor, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Keisha Brice, Chair, at the Cannabis Social Equity Advisory Board, Commissioner Kirsten Alexander, at the MA Commission on the Status of Women, Essex County, and Craig Aarons-Martin, Chairman, at the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth.
Here, the panelists participated in a discussion and answered questions about the process of joining a public board or commission and its benefits.
