Having has this for just over a week and a half now, I can say, clarity is spot on. There is no ghosting or phantoms that you can see with other films. I can actually see clearly again--90k miles was probably too long on the last film esp. with winters and rock salt etc. glad to hear this also has hydrophobic properties--going to have to get some rain to see how it actually performs versus ceramic coating. All that said, I am pretty happy with the @ultrafitprotection so far. I have a video coming up where I talk about install. thanks @blackouttinting and crew for keeping my toys protected! #bestinthebusiness #nomorerockchips
What is the lifetime of such a windshield protection film. On this car, the owner opted to have it replaced after 90'000km, ... but is there a year limitation ?
I'm about to have the second windshield in less than a year replaced on a RAM Promaster. At $1200 each, I really need a good windshield film. Your channel came up at the top in the Google search, and I'm anxiously awaiting your four month review of the Ultrafitprotection Wincrest Evo. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Easier install if you compare the videos. This one is supposed to be hydrophobic and self healing. We will have to see how it stands up overtime. The other film still looks brand new but still needs more mileage on it since it isn't a daily driver.
@@BlackoutTinting roger that. My 718 GT4 is a daily driver and just passed 15,000 miles in under a year so will be looking for a solution. Thanks for the info.
I have an SUV in a foreign country where the roads have all kinds of loose rocks and debris. I would like to purchase the ultrafit product so that I can minimize the risk of having to replace the whole windshield if it gets hit with a rock I am pretty sure Ultrafit does not have a dealer or licensed installer in that country. As such I am hopeful I can purchase the product in the US and have a local car tint installer install it there. Any help on how and where I can purchase the Ultrafit product would be greatly appreciated.
I need to install something quick. I just bought an FJ Cruiser which has a notorious windshield. They're small but the angle is damn near 90° 🤦🏽 So like i said, i need protection like a middle aged Japanese guy off 2 blue pills in a Vegas Bunny Ranch 😂
OK so here is my question… I have a new Tesla model S plaid, driving it back from the factory it already has micro chips. They are replacing the windshield and I want to protect the windshield however what I'm trying to do is prevent all the micro dots that show up in the window… If they just show up in the protective barrier in the film is useless to me. Does this self heal or what should I really expect?
Trying to find this for the CyberTruck windshield. Do they have this yet for the US MARKET? Would really love to have this Wincrest Evo ultrafit on my CyberTruck. Please advise.
This one claims:
✅Heat gun free 10 min install
✅Exceptionally clear
✅Highly shock-absorbing
✅Hydrophobic
✅Highly scratch resistant
✅Self Healing 👀
✅99% UV rejection
Let’s find out!!
Any updates on this product yet?

Thank you, we are devoted to provide good quality products for the market :)
Awesome, keep us updated! Excited to see your initial thoughts.
@@ultrafitprotection any problems with windshield wipers scratching?
I'm curious how this is holding up
@PatsGarageOnline this one is not the best. But they might still be tweaking the formula. And we are currently testing some from XPEL.
I see that the Brand Name is Ultrafit
But what's the mil ?
Where can we purchase it?
Any update yet? Just got a new lease and would love to protect the windshield !

🤞🤞 hopefully this one is it!
😅Doc definitely racks up the miles so we should find out soon
How does this film version stack against the Ultrafit on your GT4 you did roughly 7 months ago?

I'm on my second windshield in 2 months on my bronco
Insurance covers the glass but it's inconvenient to have to
This film is not a winner yet. We are testing out some new ones currently though.
@@BlackoutTinting thanks for the reply!
can we apply this to our side windows? trying to prevent smash and grabs
it's not like a security film that helps with home windows

Have y’all looked into the Bray stretch windshield film?
Yeah we did some testing, its on the owners hellcat. Crazy distortion and it swells up when its wet.
@@BlackoutTinting If you don’t mind me asking how long was it on the vehicle and was it being driven daily?
Just a few weeks. Its our daily driver at our Florida house but we aren't there often.
Will this fill or hide small scratches or swirls that are in the windshield before installing?
No, sorry
Can you have this on exterior of all windows ... and ... have ceramic tint on interior of all windows??
This would never survive on the exterior of a windshield. The wipers alone would probably destroy it
@@BlackoutTinting So it's confirmed that this is not a good film?
Is it possible to install the regular Ultrafit windshield film with a steamer?
yes it is
Would this product mask existing pock marks on the glass once it was applied? Thanks for posting! Thumbs up and subscribed!
I don't think it will.. tbh it might make it more noticeable. Thanks for watching!!
What glass cleaners are ok to use on the film? Ammonia or alcohol based? Other?
alcohol based for window tint... not sure if it is the same with widnshield film
What type of chemical are you using or is it regular water and soap?
Installation wise, a tint slime and water solution
how is this doing any chance of buying some for my 570s spider and c8 vette. i am not local looking to take off my bray as it wasn't a perfect install
Not sure I follow
@BlackoutTinting will you sell some cuts from the roll so I can self install here in South Dakota
We’re waiting to hear back that this is in stock
Do you have a link and/or name/brand for the steamer you are using?
it is a basic wallpaper remover steamer from Lowes I believe
How’s the update now? 4 months down the line correct?
We're hoping to put an update out soon when the vehicle is back in the shop
Any updates?
Id like to know too!
soon!
Sitting here at the edge of my driver's seat intensely eating popcorn.
Did you try the Exoshield as well?
No, they won’t return our emails unfortunately.
Same @blackoutTinting
What location is this dude in? Latrobe or Pitt?
It's the owner, he floats between all 3.
Already became an authorized user my issue is getting clients that’s my goal rn. Any tips besides website or seo?
you could film yourself installing it, put it on youtube, fb, or ig as an ad, and then advertise by location.

I don't think there are many installers in the US for this yet. But we prefer their non 'evo' windshield protection over this for now
Maybe a dumb question... Wouldn't a heat gun help with removal?
Steam works the best for windshields
