Honestly I had a feeling you wouldn’t keep the color; I can definitely relate. After bleaching my microlocs several times, I’ve realized that no color compares to my natural black, and color is just not worth the damage…I had to big chop after bleaching 😢

    •  6 місяців тому

Yes! That’s my biggest fear. Having to start over by chopping these off 😭

Clorox CLING toilet bowl cleaner with bleach usually gets rid of all spots in my bathroom. Let it sit for like 15 minutes. The cling cleaner isn't as watery which is good for my white tub it keeps contact longer.

I like the black!! What was the time frame in which you have done the colors?? Just hope you don’t experience any damage.

    •  6 місяців тому

Girl why are you playing in your head😩 pissing me off, you should not have washed you color so soon, and you did not need purple shampoo for red hair that stripped your hair color definitely! Tbh I thought the blond you had originally look really good but black is always safe. I love your locs tho they look good please stop all this dying all this permanent color is damaging to the locs,
you should’ve done a black rinse because black pigment is practically permanent regardless of what type of dye you use. This would save you some damage in the future!
The black will fade with washes still so in the future use a black rinse
(Ps your hair was already red you didn’t need to add red dye to the black but it’s ok you didn’t know! You were done dirty by whoever did your color they weren’t a professional)

    •  6 місяців тому +2

I can almost bet you are not as pissed off as me about it 😂 From the first two colors and the recommendation for the purple shampoo, this all came from a licensed cosmetologist. So of course I trusted it. Even being told what color to purchase for the black hair color came from her.
I’ll definitely take your advice about the rinse when it fades.

@ I’m so sorry that happened to you I’m not even a professional but I have dyed my locs blond, red, black, brown all on my own. I just went red to blonde using nothing but UA-cam and some research. Please do research don’t trust everything these cosmologists say, especially when they want you to correct there mistakes yourself…they are humans too who make errors. For future reference purple shampoo is only for light blonde hair, it’s designed make fade out too bright and yellowy pigment from hair, so that’s why your red hair faded.
But the black does look so good please make sure you’re doing protein treatments, hot oil, and using aloe on your locs after all those chemicals

@ i recommend using Brands like over tone and Keracolor as rinse they have black shades and are very conditioning and filled with proteins! I used Keracolor to go red, and black/brown in the past without damaging my hair and it last a long time! They sell it at Amazon, Sally’s, and even some targets
