My Dad was from Preston and a member of the Ribble Wasps scooter club in the late 50s early 60s. He's 86 now and has dementia but I'm going to play him this video to see if it brings back any memories. Thanks for posting!
I work with lots of Italians in Monaco here in the South of France and always share these videos with them. Amazing Anglo/Italian fusion. PS I am originally from East Lancs and recognise a few in this video from my youth.

A Vespa PX 80 Lusso was my first own vehicle. Now many years later I have a light motorcycle, but I enjoy to see all these scooters. A beautyful hobby. Always a good and save time on street.
Wonderful post, its so great to see UK rallies. Scooters here are as rare as hens' teeth. I've seen 5 scooters in 7 years, and two of those were German tourists passing through the town and stopping for pizza's on their Gts300...Greetings from Northern Europe...Harry 👍

Great opening song, I'm a biker or should I say a guy with a motorcycle but I've got a soft spot for the SX200 lambretta. Love the way the guys and girls were turned out cant beat that era real style 👌Great bunch of people u got another subscription bud respect.
I am a biker myself now a skinhead through being old and follicle challenged, LOL I totally concur with Peter great to see the scoters and the style as I remember it first time round. We had a scooter rally here in N.I. pre covid and it was a brilliant sight. Many thanks for posting . Robert.
@@49googie we have the same hair style !!! I was a skinhead back in the day my older sister used to get me into pub disco aged 14 would go back there in a heartbeat .
I’ve seen many posts on Facebook saying such things , I guess we all learn from mistakes , no harm done , it was a fabulous event regardless of that , it’s certainly not easy to organize these events and I know the town folk up there love the Scooterists coming along to it .. be gentle on those organizer guys / gals - they put a lot of hours into that weekend 👍
I hear what your saying Colin , many people won’t believe how long it takes to edit the video (longer than shooting it ) it took me 11 hours of editing to do this weeks video .. (on average it’s 8-10 hours ) also a lot of swearing is involved ! 😂 … so when it’s finally on I tend to “sigh with relief “ - feet up - watch it - then go and chill for a few days ! .. putting listings on would have to be a after thought for me , maybe it’s something I may do in the future , it’s not something I’ve really thought about doing as yet sorry .. but I always answer asap on information required on certain songs 👍
Awesome that bro 👌. But I will say this, I haven’t got a clue what planet I’ve been living on these last few days as I totally forgot all about Clitheroe this year 🙈. Clitheroe for me is literally a 30 minute ride from home and Gisburn 40 mins. So many thanks from me for capturing the event, is was most enjoyable to watch 👌.

@@scootercoop5234 . I live on the Southport side of Preston and Clitheroe is a 23 mile ride for me and never seen or heard any scooters on the planet I was living on at the weekend 😂. Anyway, I have just joined the FB group for that event so I’ll not miss it next year. There seems to be a lot of disappointment in the comments about this years ride-in and how the riders got split up and ended up coming into Clitheroe from all directions unlike other years where they all rode in together from the same direction, even some of the local people that line the route to watch were a bit puzzled 🤔. Perhaps the organisers might take note though for next years ride in 🤞🏻

Pity the Ride in turned into a total Shambles coming into town from all directions and times hopefully sorted for next year
