I think the main issue is Customer Care. because it is Govt. company, they do not care about getting fired, which is why they behave like this with customers. what govt. should do is, have the Operational Employees (engineers, r&d, etc) all under govt. but then give the Customer Care/Handling part like Sales, Complaints, Installations, etc to private companies. As contract with these companies can be ended if they don't provide proper service and also the company can be strict with their employees if they do not serve the customer properly. Not going to lie. In 2007, we went to BSNL to get Landline + Internet (Dial Up internet required Landline Connection). We kept going there for literally 2+ years, after which we gave up. and till date we never got a BSNL Landline at our home.
I bought bsnl sim some day ago. Due to not getting proper connectivity ,i had complained via app. Representative call me and told that you contact to this person and resolve the complainant when i call that person he is busy all the time. How? Landline receiver is placed at table😂😂😊 So busy all time .😅

BSNL whole network is in patches, somewhere only 2G available, some places still on 3G, few places got 4G, & at remaining ‘no network’. Not a single type of network available pan India. BSNL should first focus on 700 MHz & 2100 MHz 4G pan India and complete the process of 3G shutdown everywhere (Airtel shut down 3G all over India in 2019), then provide n78 5G wherever population density or user density is high.

I am a customer of bsnl from last 16 years , complaint several times may be 1000 or more but network not improved. Previously behaviour of sde bsnl my district was good trying atleast to help with network but jte and others behaviour very bad with bad tone. Right now almost out of coverage for long time but not getting help even with tweets/ mails . Whatever you said it's totally true I faced all of these.

here in punjab BSNL 4G working totally fine with 40-45 Mbps which is really good even jio 4g is not giving that mach. obviously now i use jio 5g as primary and bsnl 4g as a secondary sim but just for acknowledgement that bsnl is working for competition and hopefully next year it'll be a big Giant with significant market share..
Using BSNL since 2006. From 2g to current day using 4g. Network issue to hai. Ghar ke andar network aata nahi, open area mein achi connectivity hai. Call drop minimal hai, 3g speed bhi thik hai 720 p mein video dekh rahe hai without buffer. Sabse lvichitra problem batayen to mere area mein jab light chali jaati hai to BSNL ka network bhi chala jata hai lagta hai tower mein electric backup nahi hai.😅
Here in mumbai, I have mtnl sim. Ghar k bahar me network nahi milta, Ghar k andar to baat hi nahi. Telephone exchange mera ghar se 1.5km radius k andar hai...

In March 2024, in my area there was no signal of BSNL once electricity was gone and only 2G Network was Coming. After conversation of BSNL Office Employee they told there is no Generator in this tower that's why it's happening. Now in November 2024 not only Signals issue solved even now getting 4G in my village. Now I ported my all 3 number to BSNL and working fine.

Actually the main reason for this type of service from BSNL is actually to use indian technology whereas companies like JIO and Airtel use foreign technologies so we feel like that they are doing great but this is the reality. I hope in future BSNL rises

Mai aadha ghanta pratiksha karta raha kisine nahi pucha aapko kya chahiye ulta wo mobile me chatting me vyast the bilkul RAJA jese. Mere puchne par bhi kuch bhi nahi bataya toh nikal gaya wahase. Lagata he inhe na hi SIM & Fibre bechna he na company chalani he. Ye hai BSNL. Accha he jio & airtel thoda price jyada lete par sunate bhi he aur shikayat par kaam bhi karate he.
The reason for downfall of BSNL were:- 1) Being government subsidiary the employee were reluctant to sales (least bothered approach), 2) In 2007, I personally faced by BSNL salesperson was wrongly explaining the broadband plan charges to show that it is cheaper for commercial users excluding hidden charges, 3) More than half the day the service even in my Central metro city location absence of broadband connectivity, 4) Even after complaining again they never used to come before 7 days, 5) Selling the as unlimited high plan but it used to have limited data with even the Mbps for the promised used to never achieve even half, 6) Selling the telephone line as free calls along with broadband. However, that telephone line charges were never free. 7) Customer Service and After Sales Staff were pathetic. 8) Lack of Public Private Partnership model (PPP). 9) Corruption under government highlighted under both SUN TV & 2G spectrum. 10) Stiff competition and lack of retention policies for customers. It's never too late for starting again the race.
Yes, sir. I was having a Mi 11X Mi flagship phone from 2021, but last month, after an update, the motherboard died. The service center quoted a cost of 23k, which makes no sense in 2023. Also, if you Google or search on UA-cam, you will find several videos about Mi 11X motherboards dying after updates. In my area BSNL 3g is faster than Airtel 4g😂 i don't know why but airtel have give full network but 4g not good speed is 1.2-2MBPS but bsnl give around 2MBPS constant and gaming ping Also good in codm around 40-50 ms
Completely agree on employee aspect, just 3 4 days back my father went for kyc of an really old sim, the person there first said to get it done from the city where it was taken, when the officer from that city, who was calling my father to get kyc done talked to him then he did "ehsaan" of KYC. Now my father has two sims both were old, so the employee said he will do only one sim and other sim will be done next day. Then afterwards, my father got call from office (the other city officer who asked him to get the kyc dobe initially) that the employee has not done complete work. Then next day he went for other sim KYC and told the employee about incomplete work. And yesterday we got to know both KYC are not still not done completely.

Using BSNL Bharatnet from since last 5years for my data needs. I have 1 jio active SIM and 1 BSNL sim with 1198 365 days recharge. In my home 4 BSNL connections are active which includes BSNL postpaid my wife and daughter and mother. I moved jio during free data and later continue it because of stability in most areas where BSNL was inconsistent network issues. In urban areas BSNL service satisfactory but signal switching between 3g to 4g still an issue
Thing is people kitna hi shadi shadi kar le but jio ans airtel profitable business run hi nhi kar sakti agar tariff na bhadati, bankrupt ho jati and India would have died. This is because gov takes high taxes from operators and that's because of 2G scam.
I think BSNL is gonna grow in hilly areas because I am from ladakh and on the hills there is BSNL tower and they are gonna start BSNL 4g at budget 😊

@crestpubg1951 I'm getting BSNL 3G/H+, but speed is 3 Mbps, can't go to that low from 500 Mbps 5G, atleast 30-50 Mbps is acceptable.

Using BSNL since 2006. From 2g to current day using 4g. Network issue to hai. Ghar ke andar network aata nahi, open area mein achi connectivity hai. Call drop minimal hai, 3g speed bhi thik hai 720 p mein video dekh rahe hai without buffer. Sabse lvichitra problem batayen to mere area mein jab light chali jaati hai to BSNL ka network bhi chala jata hai lagta hai tower mein electric backup nahi hai.😅

@@GyanTherapy BSNL ko sudharne ke lie kai कार्यों ka theka TATA ko dia gaya hai. 5g aur 4g tower bhi TATA hi laga raha hai. aur plans ab bahut saste hain, mere area me netspeed bhi acchi hai. BSNL pe abhi bhi 3g chal raha hai jispe 1080 60 fps stream ho jata hai UA-cam pe without buffering. So I am very hopeful about BSNL.

मेरी पहली SIM BSNL थी जो मैंने 12 पास करने के बाद 2009 ली, जिसके साथ मेरे पहला मोबाइल samsung Monti भी लिया था। तब से आज 2024 तक BSNL ही मेरी पहली SIM है, बस mobile बदल गये। ओर भी SIM समय के साथ लेता गया और बदलता भी गया। लेकिन BSNL की SIM नही बदली, पर उसको समय के साथ Upgrade करता गया।
एक ही बात कहूँगा।
जहाँ ना मिले JIO, idia, tata docomo, Airtel, Aircel, RIM,smart, uninor, telinor, Vodaphone के Signal वहाँ मिले 'BSNL' के signal.

In March 2024, in my area there was no signal of BSNL once electricity was gone and only 2G Network was Coming. After conversation of BSNL Office Employee they told there is no Generator in this tower that's why it's happening. Now in November 2024 not only Signals issue solved even now getting 4G in my village. Now I ported my all 3 number to BSNL and working fine.

Actually the main reason for this type of service from BSNL is actually to use indian technology whereas companies like JIO and Airtel use foreign technologies so we feel like that they are doing great but this is the reality. I hope in future BSNL rises

Watching from BSNL in 360P.... Nagpur me thik thak chl jata hai but rural areas me bohot down hai network iska....Bhai maine 338 ka recharge Kiya hai 1GB pr day 60 days tak 😅... bohot sasta hai but network utna fast nhi hai.... So they need to work on it ASAP...

Aise hi mai bhi Jio & airtel ke recharge par bahot kimmat chukani padati he toh hamare paas ke official BSNL office pe SIM (aur Fibre bhi) lene gaya tha. Mai aadha ghanta pratiksha karta raha kisine nahi pucha aapko kya chahiye ulta wo mobile me chatting me vyast the bilkul RAJA jese. Mere puchne par bhi kuch bhi nahi bataya toh nikal gaya wahase. Lagata he inhe na hi SIM & Fibre bechna he na company chalani he. Ye hai BSNL. Accha he jio & airtel thoda price jyada lete par sunate bhi he aur shikayat par kaam bhi karate he.
The reason for downfall of BSNL were:-
1) Being government subsidiary the employee were reluctant to sales (least bothered approach),
2) In 2007, I personally faced by BSNL salesperson was wrongly explaining the broadband plan charges to show that it is cheaper for commercial users excluding hidden charges,
3) More than half the day the service even in my Central metro city location absence of broadband connectivity,
4) Even after complaining again they never used to come before 7 days,
5) Selling the as unlimited high plan but it used to have limited data with even the Mbps for the promised used to never achieve even half,
6) Selling the telephone line as free calls along with broadband. However, that telephone line charges were never free.
7) Customer Service and After Sales Staff were pathetic.
8) Lack of Public Private Partnership model (PPP).
9) Corruption under government highlighted under both SUN TV & 2G spectrum.
10) Stiff competition and lack of retention policies for customers.
It's never too late for starting again the race.

Completely agree on employee aspect, just 3 4 days back my father went for kyc of an really old sim, the person there first said to get it done from the city where it was taken, when the officer from that city, who was calling my father to get kyc done talked to him then he did "ehsaan" of KYC. Now my father has two sims both were old, so the employee said he will do only one sim and other sim will be done next day. Then afterwards, my father got call from office (the other city officer who asked him to get the kyc dobe initially) that the employee has not done complete work. Then next day he went for other sim KYC and told the employee about incomplete work. And yesterday we got to know both KYC are not still not done completely.
Pehele se hi pata tha kuch fayeda nahi. Pas wale chacha ne sasta dekh kar liya tha aur mere paribaar ko bhi lene ko kaha. 3g bhi thik se nahi deta. isiliye thora zyada paisa de kar trusted and reputated brand lena chahiye 👍

Using BSNL Bharatnet from since last 5years for my data needs. I have 1 jio active SIM and 1 BSNL sim with 1198 365 days recharge. In my home 4 BSNL connections are active which includes BSNL postpaid my wife and daughter and mother. I moved jio during free data and later continue it because of stability in most areas where BSNL was inconsistent network issues. In urban areas BSNL service satisfactory but signal switching between 3g to 4g still an issue
