Testing new TN license plates on LPR cameras

It is technology billed as helping fight crime and locating missing people. But it is still not clear whether some License Plate Recognition cameras used by law enforcement across the state can get reads Tennessee's new license plates at night.

Who was responsible for giving the go-ahead on these plates? Im sure the Tennesee taxpayers will be responsable for paying for this blunder!

They need to change the type of reflective coating, and that would help, it’s not the plat itself, there’s blue, black, dark colored plates all across the country and they aren’t an issue, if we had embossed plates that would help a lot

Then any vehicle that comes up plate blank is a suspicious vehicle and new plates must be replaced? I doubt anyone new this 10 months ago?
