And that’s a big part of why the show became uninteresting. They killed a lot in the first 2 seasons outside of those in the picture. Should’ve had a lot more side characters made just to die to get the point across, yet have a much larger main character base that didn’t die. If they killed Andreas sister they should of kept Jim. If they were going to kill off Shane they should of kept Dale. Too many of these scenarios in the show. Another example Glenn and Abraham. Should’ve been one of the other
@@bamuh4506 I will say that they couldn’t keep Dale since the actor who played Dale wanted to leave the show, so it wasn’t originally planned to kill Dale, but they had to since the actor wanted off the show.

According to the Video Game based on Daryl in the beginning of the outbreak, his dad died right after the outbreak started, so it wouldn't make sense if his dad died before the outbreak if the game is Canon
Thank you so much for posting a TWD video at this time of bleakness as far as the show goes. I really enjoyed this and looking forward to more, thank you. We soon forget the characters had normal lives prior to the outbreak.
It's amazing how different the comics and the show are from each other. They are obviously very similar, of course, but different enough as to be their own stories. Carol is night & day different between the two (in the comics, she's a downright nut) and as mentioned, Daryl (an integral character to the show) flat out doesn't even exist. And that just scratches the surface.
Rick's Trajectory, his Journey is basically the Same. It's some of the Characters, yes, made for the Show..but, doesn't change Rick's Trajectory, the Major Main Points..
Bob Stookie is a character out of the Walking Dead Novels which centralised around the Guvernor/Lily Caul and the town of Woodbury written by Robert Kirkman/Jay Bonansinga. He was an ex-army medic and drunk
Comic Amy was a physical education major. There was a guy in Woodberry named Bob who was a drunk and a combat doctor in Vietnam. I think that's where the show runners got the basis for show Bob.
They were in a grocery store along with other survivors in a make-shift camp. When Abraham came back from supply run he found the other men had raped his wife. He killed them all brutally - causing his wife and two kids to flee in horror. When he went to look for them he found their bodies - killed by walkers. - Then he meets Eugene. - They did not own a store.
@@TWDExplained Well, I just rewatched the parts of S5 E5 that pertain to Abraham's family and it doesn't say but there was one thing interesting that I did notice. He was wearing his dog tags until he found his family dead and eaten. At that point, he ripped them off before putting the gun in his mouth. This makes me think he was still in the military when the world ended.
So I quit watching the show after Glenn and Abraham died. Right now I’m on episode three. I just restarted the show and going to finish it till the end. I’m single right now so I need something to do at the end of the night.

Wayne Dunlap, born 1979, worked as a manager for a vehicle rental agency. He managed the rental fleet of vehicles. He inspected them for damage after rental. He also handled the insurance for the vehicles. He ordered repairs, turned in insurance claims, oversaw preventative maintenance, and handled retal contracts. He lost his wife a year before he was injured by a rotter. She died of complications due to Covid-24 in medical isolation. He drown himself in his work to detract from the pain of his grief. Rachel Dunlap, his wife, was 10 weeks pregnant when she died. She had just found out she was in very early pregnancy when she checked into the hospital. She spent 10 weeks in medical isolation, having a barrage of tests and experimental treatments administered to her. Upon her death, a sample of her blood was taken because medical scientists were close to finding a cure. Wayne Dunlap donated her body to the research effort for Covid-24. It as preserved for test samples as Covid-24 TS-10. The efforts to stop Covid-24 went on. Medical science was taking many aggressive risks to try to end the disease ravaging the planet. 1 billion had already died. Doctor Edwin Jenner, a medical research scientist was making great strides in a cure and vaccine for Covid-24. Using methods obtained from the vaccines created for the relatively docile viral retrovirus Covid-19, the antibodies from Rachel Dunlap's body, Doctor Edwin Jenner created another virus that would combat Covid-24. The new super aggressive strain of combatant virus was designated, "Wildfire." A massive vaccine and cure campaign was launched spreading the Wildfire antivirus and the vaccine named, "Fracking." These were the fist self spreading, self multiplying, self adjusting vaccines in history. One vaccine administered to one person and one antiviral administered to another in the same household could treat an entire neighbourhood. This made the administration of the Wildfire virus and Fracking vaccine extremely easy to transmit. Enormous social get-togethers were conducted to propagate Wildfire and Fracking. Singers would hold free concerts after one having been personally administered Wildfire antivirus and another singer administerd Fracking vaccine. The concert would spread the antivirus and vaccine throughout the audience. It seemed Covid-24 met its very abrupt end. Deathrates returned to normal levels in one year. Wayne Dunlap, being isolated in thankless job, was far from people almost all the time. He spent his days attending to the needs of the business, fleet vehicles and paperwork. He stayed on the grounds willingly and made an apartment above a service bay. Hearing about the amazing advances science had made due to what was learned from the experiments amd testing of his beautiful wife Rachel, Wayne Dunlap decided to get the Wildfire antivirus and the Fracking vaccinem. He went to a clinic seeking the injections. He arrived almost at closing time of the clinic and got the Wildfire antivirus. Then went to the next room for his Fracking vaccine. The medical technicians and nurses were in a hurry to leave and were sloppy. They did not communicate between each other at the end of their day, in front of a long weekend. One nurse administered Wildfire. Another administered Fracking in the next room, unknown that Wildfire was already given. As a rule one that received Wildfire antivirus could not receive Fracking vaccine. They were not to be mixed. Wayne Dunlap had been administered both, within minutes of each other. He then returned to his apartment he had above a service bay at work. There, it took him two days to die. The rental facility was closed for a week for the extended Christmas to New year's day holiday. He died going to the facility's office to call for an ambulance. When Wayne Dunlap died, he did not stay inanimate. The combination of Wildfire and Fracking reactivated the brain stem. This left Wayne Dunlap very week, being only a shadow of who we was when he died. He then started waiting aimlessly around the vehicle rental facility. The day the facility reopened it was public auction day of used rental equipment and vehicles. Hundreds of people showed up for the grand event. As the hundreds showed up to seek an amazing purchase price of a helicopter, truck, construction equipment, boats, planes, equipment, automobiles, and the such, they crowded together in the same place. Within the crowd, they all shared close proximity with each other. Spreading the benevolent effects of Wildfire antivirus, and Fracking vaccine. But unknown to all of them, they also shared the same air as Wayne Dunlap, which had both the antiviral and vaccine given. The spread of his combined treatments in one body became a pathogen. Wayne had stumbled into the back of a truck that was docked with an open rear cargo door that was accidentally closed. That truck was bought at the auction by the Atlanta Correctional Facility to serve as a goods transport between prisons. The truck was heading to a prison to receive a load of laundry to be transported. In there, Wayne Dunlap lurked quietly, hungrily, hidden in the box truck. Waiting for prisoners to open the rear.
I didnt think Eugene was really anything but a smart guy who read a lot and was interested in science. Then he used his intelligence and memory to call up info to impress people and get them to help him. Now he has finally become a bad ass leader.
Comics Carol was a little weaker than in the show? That’s an understatement lol. Carol is downright weak, pathetic, and annoying in the comics. In the show she’s a total badass and beloved character. I favor most things in the comics over the show, but I like show Carol wayyyyy more than comics Carol. Comics Carol might be my least favorite character in the entire comics.
Glenn was actually in this character of the game only for a lil bit of 2 days in the Telltale series game in Season 1 episode 1 and 2. till he had to go to Atlanta. which is canon in the game and the entire Series of TWD
Fun fact Bob Stookey in the comics is white. As well in the actual novels (not comics) he is aged and aids Lilly Caul in the novels as a friend and mentor he as well calls her Lilly Girl very often. As well with the governor in the actual novels he is hus brothers lap dog basically and eventually gets sick of being his lap dog and kills his brother and becomes Philip Blake his original name was Brian Blake but he sees his brother as the better person so takes his name and title after killing him
Agree. Jon tried out for Rick's role but the producers knew he would make a perfect Shane and cast him in that role - before they even found a Rick actor.
Eugene is 100% some sort of scientist. Definitely not the one he said but he is smart as hell. Kinda. I hate him and he’s made some really stupid choices but he’s made so much things that your average person probably wouldn’t know.
Interesting, i havent read the comic but im from kentucky not Cynthiana but its still interesting. Would have been cool if the show had them in kentucky as well but i understand why they centered the beggining in Atlanta
Yeah and when he was with the saviors he played video games pretty much all the time there and even impressed some of Negan’s “wives” with his gaming skills (from what I remember, might be wrong)
If I remember correctly, she was working until she got pregnant with Carl. Then she became a housewife, but was only supposed to be for a short while. She wound up stuck, which is why she resented Rick so much, and was the cause of their problems in Ep.1. Rick and Shane talked about it briefly in the flashback before Rick was shot. And believe Rick and Lori talked about it.
Interesting video. I was a bit disparaged to hear the phrases 'just a housewife' and 'just a college student'. Both of those endeavors are hard work. Please be aware of minimalization in the future.
My friend's and I like to think what our roll's would be by our job's, I'm the one with the best training but not the leadership kind. Of course with a vast majority of us belonging to the 501st as stormtroopers and pilots, you know we would be toast when we found out we had to aim for the head lol.
Jim, Dale, and Abraham in my opinion are the most unnecessary deaths. Andreas sisters death already got the point across so Jim’s death was kind of fucked. It was determined Shane was going to be killed off so why kill Dale first in the same little time span? Abraham or Glenn should of been one or the other not both. Too many pairs of 2s dying at the same time ultimately got us where we are with almost none of the original cast and made it uninteresting for some viewers
I agree, I think the most stupidest deaths in the show were, 1.Carl 2. Andrea 3. Beth 4. Abraham, and 5. Sophia, I only say Sophia because she honestly should’ve lived up until now but I did like her death it’s iconic
@@jinxthesweet2837 yeah Carl should’ve lived since Rick left shortly after like they took out the whole main family lol. Beth should’ve died a long time ago in my opinion it should of been Herschel that outlived her.
Dude this question would have been better asked 8 years ago I could tell you what every character did without thinking for more than a second and anyone who even mildly pays attention would have heard when almost every character outright said it or somebody else said it about them.... Its literally one of the primary topics of conversation characters get into in this show and its rare when a character doesn't speak about it. Only daryl and he only kept that a secret for 4 seasons

Fun fact Bob Stookey in the comics is white. As well in the actual novels (not comics) he is aged and aids Lilly Caul in the novels as a friend and mentor he as well calls her Lilly Girl very often. As well with the governor in the actual novels he is hus brothers lap dog basically and eventually gets sick of being his lap dog and kills his brother and becomes Philip Blake his original name was Brian Blake but he sees his brother as the better person so takes his name and title after killing him
Me and Abraham were from the same place :) ✌🏻
Tdog was wearing a berret in his first apperance so he could be x millitary
In FTWD Morgan hints that he was a car mechanic when they fix up the Chevy at the cabin next to the river.
I really enjoyed this video!!
Thanks!
Carl Grimes was a undercover cop, his nickname was baby legs
Everyone knows Rick and Shane were policemen
Wish they kept Shane longer on the show. There couldnt be anyone better than Jon Bernthal for that role. His acting was insane.
Agree. Jon tried out for Rick's role but the producers knew he would make a perfect Shane and cast him in that role - before they even found a Rick actor.
Makes sense how many members that survived were apart of the military
What funny is when Daryl reaction to Glenn occupation lmaoo
Carl got so old and and only scroll down if If your on season 9 cuz I don’t want to spoil it!
I wish Carl didn’t die 😭
Darryl and Merle were just a couple of two bit slackers.
Thank you for the video nice information about walking dead character's
Eugene is 100% some sort of scientist. Definitely not the one he said but he is smart as hell. Kinda. I hate him and he’s made some really stupid choices but he’s made so much things that your average person probably wouldn’t know.
Corral!
He was just a pizza delivery guy.
In the show i think eugene was a physics teacher
I really miss Merle Dixon! 😍
The homicide cop kid died immediately after being on the show for 5min and dating the sister lol😂
And now we finally know what Negan did.
I think Daryl’s dad died at the start at the apocalypse, due to survival instinct being cannon , we actually know alot
Interesting, i havent read the comic but im from kentucky not Cynthiana but its still interesting. Would have been cool if the show had them in kentucky as well but i understand why they centered the beggining in Atlanta
Well now we know what morgan did from the last fear episode
1:06 Daaaaamn bro the forehead difference...
Eugene was a gamer, that's how he came up with his back story about being a scientist. He was a smart guy but lazy and played games all day.
Yeah and when he was with the saviors he played video games pretty much all the time there and even impressed some of Negan’s “wives” with his gaming skills (from what I remember, might be wrong)
@@ifelldownthestairs_ kinda hoping Eugene turns out to be a scientist. Maybe he plays the "I'm a scientist , I'm not a scientist card" when needs to.
There is a Tara in the comic but obviously not the same one. I think she was one of the saviors.
i got a walking dead ad on this video lol
A lot of info i didn't know! would have been cool if we could have seen some of there life stories in TWD
You could look up their backstories on TWD Wikipedia, it's pretty informative.
@@marcusgraves2662 ahh thanks a lot!!!
I have several Backstory videos on the characters as well.
@@TWDExplained cool, i will be checking them out!! great channel btw!
what if merle didnt die
I really wish the show would have had them in cynthiana Kentucky seeing as how I live in Kentucky.
Same!
Wait a minute I notice the chad Coleman plays a former football player and he voices coach from l4d who I think is a coach.
I think that Lori was an elementary school teacher in the show - recall the scene when she told Carl that Rick was shot, it’s in a schoolyard.
All the kids were getting out of school at that time. I think Lori was just picking him up.
I think she was either a teacher or just a housewife
If I remember correctly, she was working until she got pregnant with Carl. Then she became a housewife, but was only supposed to be for a short while. She wound up stuck, which is why she resented Rick so much, and was the cause of their problems in Ep.1. Rick and Shane talked about it briefly in the flashback before Rick was shot. And believe Rick and Lori talked about it.
@@terrasavoy46 Yeah Lori was just picking Carl up from school
Interesting video. I was a bit disparaged to hear the phrases 'just a housewife' and 'just a college student'. Both of those endeavors are hard work. Please be aware of minimalization in the future.
For sure - I got pegged about it when I first released the video and learned from my mistake.
@@TWDExplained Thank you for the reply. Please keep up with YOUR hard work! ;)
My friend's and I like to think what our roll's would be by our job's, I'm the one with the best training but not the leadership kind. Of course with a vast majority of us belonging to the 501st as stormtroopers and pilots, you know we would be toast when we found out we had to aim for the head lol.
Maybe in TWD world...but sounds like helluva team in real life - Thanks for watching!
I thought T Dog worked at a church or something and drove a church van. Glenn says that after he dies in season 3
He went to church. He took the church van trying to help older people and others when it started.
They should make a show about their life after the outbreak.
It's nostalgia and most videos here are for discussion. Some fans request things, and we all enjoy talking about TWD - past and present.
now we know why daryl never wanted to answer what he did before the outbreak.
the walkers could just decay and die i think so if you wait for a long time they will just die off from decomposition
“We need to add in a black character. Let make it a black guy. What should we name him?”
“How about T Dogg?@
“Yea that sounds right. Let’s roll with that.”
