If you cant find fire food in North Jersey you're just not looking
When I was a kid 👧🏾 I idolized New York 🗽. But as I got an older and started traveling my opinion has changed.
Shit different when you a kid and everything is beautiful and free but when you grow up them prices and cost of living make a number on you fr
NYC has amazing marketing.
Ain't nothing like New York
Ain't nothing like New York
I can relate to that
I feel like they are comparing suburbs in NJ with NY City. A better comparison would be suburb in NJ with suburb in NY.
@@mosesoftheblock2311 this is facts though cause don’t get it fucked up there’s parts of Jersey that’s dirty too lmao

I concur
Everybody always compare NYC to the entire state of NJ lmao. If we talking suburbs and housing architecture, Westchester and the Hudson Valley are the most beautiful
Nyack n.y
Nah Montclair got a lot to say on restaurants. Same with Newark, Hoboken, Jersey city, Brunswicks,
smart man
Bro yah comparing the whole state to one city 😂 that says alot
I grew up in Montclair, every day for lunch me and my friends could walk to multiple award winning quality restaurants for the low and be back by the time 5th period started. S tier food of every genre is less than 2 miles away if you’re in Montclair. It’s gotten VERY expensive tho because of this.
Where? As a New Yorker I moved to Essex County 3 years ago. I haven't found many good restaurants. They are always "just ok. This is a serious question. Name some spots.
@@ThirtyThreeHipHop if you’re not a driver it won’t matter. Jersey born and raised driving to a destination is expected. Essex county is huge a lot the spots you’re gonna have to take a trip but Raymond’s in Montclair is a staple.
If you can't find good food in NY and NJ, I don't think you should be allowed to drive or operate heavy machinery. Somethings wrong with you. There are just so many options and variety. If you can't make it work it's on you.

Anything is better then the Strip Club food you're used to...lol..
As a New Yorker who has moved from it, there are aspects I miss and aspects I don't. It was POPPIN in the 90s and early 2000's. However, as a man with a family now that moved, I come to NYC for family and I head back to the suburbs with my green space and suburban amenities.
NYC is a dumpster. The cost of living is insanely high but the quality of life (every where in NYC) is like living in the projects. 💯💯💯

Just go to north east queens if you want to live in the suburbs.
Southeast Queens too
Queens is WAYYY too far
Long island or Westchester county as well
NY is filthy as hell! When I moved to Jersey from Georgia and thought I would be in NY all the time but after a couple trips I was grossed out. Over here in Jersey they pump your gas and there’s no tax on food and clothes.
I always find it funny when people from other states make fun of Jersey about not pumping there gas. I'm like I'm glad I get to stay in my ac car when it's 95° or heated car when it's 25°.
Every single NJ city is a gross ghetto dumpster wtf you talking about

Jersey does have its own culture. Jersey just lacks professional sport teams. Italian Hot Dog, Italian Cheeseburgers, pork rolls, Hoagies (Jersey Mikes), Saltwater Taffy, Diners, Jersey Shore, Tomato pie and I can go on. Malls, have your gas pumped for you, no tax on clothing and food, the largest airport in the area (Newark Liberty) and last, it's cleaner. @1:25 lmfao 🤣😆 he squashed that real quick
Why are they saying New York ? That just NY city 😂😂.
The Bronx is in NYC. End of story!! Yuck 🤮
The Bronx is better is better than Newark, Patterson, Camden and Trenton
@@dubreil07I’m from Trenton and I can attest to this statement lol
You clearly think the entire Bronx is the South Bronx, like most people who don’t WTF they’re talking. You have Northern Bronx which is lots of private houses. Riverdale which has lots of higher income folks. But even the fringes of the South Bronx near the border of Harlem is gentrifying. New apartment buildings are going up, especially near the waterfront that has been rezoned for residential.
@southside6093 I'll co sign that! I lived in hamilton for 3 years and trenton is 🗑!!!!! Only good thing about trenton is that it ain't too far from Philly ( low key trash big city) and you can be in Pennsylvania in 5 minutes lol
JERSEY ALL DAY
NJ is waaaaaaaay better. From a born and raised New Yorker.
They don't know about neighborhoods like Brooklyn Heights? Park Slope? Or do they just view New York City as just Manhattan?
The only difference is you can't find anywhere in Jersey where you can get food 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning. Can't find a Bodega to get a decent bacon egg and cheese. I moved from The Bronx to Hackensack 8 years ago, aint trying to go back🤷🏿
Jersey Shore , American Dream mall easiest driving , 46 safest state, art culture and music Mecca, diversity in food people etc. just to name a few
Nobody in America cares about any of that and would choose that over the tourist attractions in NYC
@robertbooker6241 that is the whole entire state if new jersey ...you wanna compare the whole state of NY...or we can do jersey city vs nyc 🤔
Jersey never gets no love and is overshadowed by nyc we aint have a poppin artist since wap smh
Y'all got Mach-Hommy
Melyssa think she slick agreeing with the food take by Flip 😂
New York has WAY MORE VARIETY in food and entertainment than New Jersey. New Jersey is good to live in but at the end of the day they end up going to any of the boroughs. Long Island is better than Jersey and I only say that because you don’t have to deal with those tolls. Lol
For all my jersey heads this is the realest debate right here where does South jersey start I used to think like Trenton it start but alot of my south jersey people tell me that's still north to them
I wqs born and raised in north jersey but lived in lawrence/trenton area for 3 years. For me, anything past princeton ia south NJ but folks that grew up in that area call it central NJ lol. Culturally, there is only south and north NJ. "central " nj doesn't exist!!! lol
Mercer County is the Mason-Dixon Line in NJ
Originally from Ohio moved to NYC in my early 20s, people said why don't you move to Jersey it's more like where you came from. I wanted to be in the big city. If I wanted something other than the NY experience I would have stayed in my hometown. 15 years later I eventually moved back to Ohio when I out grew that lifestyle.
I lived in a brownstone and we had garbage cans in Harlem so I don't understand this NYC doesn't have Garage cans debate.
5 boroughs too an whole state is crazy
They have the funniest 🤣 discussions 😂
1:01 y’all come here because there’s no space In NY & NY too greedy
Jersey City Newark east orange South arange Trenton etc etc
They’re acting like Long Island doesn’t exist. You can have a commute time into nyc similar to the ones in Jersey, and I’d say Long Island is way better than Jersey. Has the diversity and everything. Beaches/farms, luxury houses, middle class, congested areas, quiet areas and everything in between
Long Island is another city aside from NYC. There are nice places in Queens, the Bronx and Brooklyn with grass and houses. Its very different from what many assume all of NYC looks like.
@@terrinyc29Long Island is not a city
@@terrinyc29 yea but they were still comparing “New York” to Jersey. I understand them not wanting to compare upstate NY since commuting times to the city would be worse, but assuming they’re praising Jersey for its close proximity to the city while also having land/space/nature etc, Long Island has all of that and more, and is still within similar commuters proximity as Jersey. I’m just saying for the sake of the argument them not considering Long Island when taking shit about “New York” is disingenuous
There are so many better food cities, Chicago, Houston etc.
Nah get both Chicago and Houston outta here especially that trash Chicago take- ain’t nobody checking for sausages and pierogis

@@dubreil07 Just because you’re lazy doesn’t mean someone made something up. Google is free. There’s plenty of forums where tourist share their experience and say they feel scammed. Acknowledge that European sites are less expensive. Also the sanitation is insufficient. But that’s just a few.
