Don't get me wrong, I love Jack, he's a great singer. I just expected him to be more of a household name by now. When I ask my many friends if they've heard him, the answer is no. I wish Ellen would have invited him to her show. Maybe that would have been a way to make his name more recognizable. Anna Graceman from Alaska was awesome too, played Ceasers Palace, but don't hear much about her in the global media anymore either, but the can put that talentless Bieber in the news for a stupid race and arrest... Just had hoped he was a household name by now, just cause of that awesome voice.
I believe the reference was made because James is a Christian. Bieber (in his mind) stands for everything bad. Vidgen on the other hand, has Christian moral values, has sung with a few of the choir's, from what I've seen, and leads a clean life. But, that's only my opinion. I can't actually speak for James. I don't like Bieber, but that's only because of my age. I think, right now, he's going through a tough time. But, when you grow up in that industry, your every growing pain is public. God only knows, had my growing up between 18-25 become public, it may have ended with me in jail! This is the prime time for growing mistakes to be made.

He'd never be a Justin Bieber. He's way to good for that, though he did state in an interview, he'd think it pretty cool to be similar. Jack actually has talent, Bieber has indecency and a lack of morals. So, I don't think we ever have to worry about Jack lowering his standards.
***** Jack is a very nice, good person. He choose to be where he is, I don't believe, because of evil, or that's not what he said. He said he was getting big headed, and wanted to be a regular teenager again, go to school. He's a very simple minded person who is level headed, and IMO, when he had the brush with that tumor, behind his eye, it caused him to have a different outlook on life. The fame he got at 13, winning $250,000, and a recording contract with Sony Australia, was a lot for a kid to handle. To go back to his roots, to grow, I think is a positive thing. There is bad and despair in many things beside the music business. Look at sports, tv and movie celebrities, they are just as bad. But, I don't think you can blame it on a mythical deity.

I love to hear Jack sing, but wondering how long he's going to be in the public spotlight. When he first auditioned for Australia's Got Talent, I don't think there was any doubt that this guy had a voice to be reckoned with. But, after these last few years, with only mediocre success, I wonder if he's being managed by a competent music manager. With his voice, he had the ability to surpass that Canadian Bieber, who I just don't really care to hear. But, even as Jack's voice is getting deeper, he's still got a powerful voice. I hope he gets someone to take his career by the horns and gets him some really good recording contracts!

Raw Talent, the song writers should be beating down his door. With a voice like his where are the African American song writers and musicians they need to step up, where is Clive Davis.......
Obviously influenced by Mariah Carey, he does the MC handwave.......his voice has really changed......not the powerhouse he was on AGT.....still good though, but Jack, please stop th hand wave, that was Mariah.....

Lol I don't think people realize what happens when young children with great voices hit puberty... Their voices don't get destroyed, instead they mature. I mean it can happen I guess that people lose their voice, but when you have a true voice, it will stay, just mature. Yes it will change, will it get worse though? Absolutely not.
