I agree, ant makes a good bms. Have you tried the JK bms. It is my favorite unit so far, downside being the size of the unit. The active balance capabilities and functionality of the unit are on point, definitely a quality piece suitable for high capacity packs.

Have you guys tried the JK BMS? I just installed one and I love it, the app is really good (and works on IOS which is what i use) and it has 2amp capacitor style of balancing. It's only been in the bike for about a week but so far I'm really happy with it, I initially got it because i wanted something with adjustable active balance so i can set it to only charge to 4volts for longer cell life and still have it balance. If you get one though i recommend getting it with an active switch so you don't have to do anything to wake it up, just press the button. For everything under 350amps they are the best I've tried.

the jikon BMS's do not come with an active switch. the model i use (the 15p) is only sold without a switch. and this is exactly the problem with it. when you run your pack to low, it will switch off and since i have a smart charger, that wont charge unless it sees a voltage at the battery, im stuck an will need an external powersupply to get things working again

Nice video like every one of you! Do you know how or if it’s possible to reduce the output voltage ?

Did you leave the charge mosfets on while connecting to charge it? Mine arcs when i leave the discharge mosfets on and try charging the pack

I run 21s (24) Ant it’s held together with pvc tape must be least four or even six years in use on various packs.

Hi my friend I'm waiting of a 17-24s 400a bms to come...
I have a question.. can I set the number of discharge?
      I want 150-160 ams max discharge...🤔

@@antonypartali Firstly we (readers) have no way to know what this unbranded BMS is really capable of? If are able limit the amp flow your next challenge comes from your motor controller this is based upon your motor’s ability demand more than the amps set at the BMS. The moment throttle past the limit set at that BMS, that BMS should cut the power. When the power is cut the BMS, may not restore power without further commands? Now have to obtain a motor controller that sets the maximum amperes draw from a battery, rather than attempt utilise a safety feature of BMS. The challenge set that to limit current is the job of a motor controller. BMS, it only manages current as a safety feature, hence, ability to cut the power based upon over current protection rather than a motor controller this equipment regulates current/power.
I ride a Vector Typhoon, the power limits are set at the motor controller, were I programmed the maximum battery draw, throttle mapping and number seconds to maximum speed. All these areas I limit in-order to create less stress possible on the battery installed, prolong its life, and to insure the front wheel never lift from the ground. My max draw 63amp, no matter the speed I turn that throttle nothing is a mystery it is always to its top speed five seconds, never draw more than 63amps.

@@e-bikerbulgaria Thanks allot my friend for your analyst answer!!👍
As I understand you know many things on electronic vehicles...👌
I'm talking about ANT bms... order 2 of them..
One is 10-24s 400a max and the other is 7-24s 200a max
I like to know if the 10-24s 400a bms can manage the power or battery with max discharge 160-180a.. because I have 2 batteries in parallel..
If ANT bms has this ability...🤔 otherwise I will do it with other way...
Thanks allot again!!! Happy New year!!
From Greece 🇬🇷 with love and Respect!!🙋‍♂️
