2024 Social Media Planner Calendar in Google Sheets [FREE Template]

- TL;DR How to set up the social media planner
- Make a copy of the template (you need a Medium account) / new-2024-2025-beyond-s...
- Duplicate the tab & rename it to "Jan" "Feb" "Mar" or whichever month you're planning.
Changing 3 settings:
1. In D2, write the year you're planning out content for
2. In F3, select whether you want your week to start on Sunday or Monday
3. In the pink box in J8, take the first calendar week of the month you want to plan content for (e.g. for January 2024, take calendar week 1. For February 2024, take calendar week 5).
Done! :) All dates etc will update according to your settings. Happy post planning!

There's only a monthly version of the 2024 Social Media Calendar. You can set it up in just 3 clicks.
I won't be updating future versions. This is the final update of the template. You should be able to reuse it year upon year.

This is a straightforward template. I am not too versed in using Excel, but I get excited by the formulas and how everything comes together. Thank you for sharing it with us. One question. Would that mess up the formulas if I wanted to add a sheet to it just to keep track of my hashtags?

HiI When copying/pasting copy for a post into cells under "Post' columns, the text spreads across multiple cells. I tried unmerging, but it doesn't give me the option to do this. I tried text wrapping and it doesn't change anything. Could you advise what I am doing wrong? Driving me nuts

Ahoii, how do you mean? The calendar week's always visible on Google Calendar, I manually added it to the Sheet
@@GoogleSheetsGeeks I have the same problem. my Gcalendar won't show the calendar week :( Edit: I got it. Go to Setting- Go to View Options and add Show week numbers.

If I plan to post multiple times a day, is there a way I can use this template?
A workaround: You could insert extra rows, only the mini calendars won't look that nicely.

All you need to change is
- the year above
- And the calendar week in the pink box. Let's say you want to start your calendar in March this week. That's calendar week 10 (for 4 march to 10 March). Input the 10, and everything else will update automatically :)

can you do a project/task management planner? say you're managing different teams or projects and need calendar reminders of specific tasks. how would this be created in a workbook

Hey thanks for this how do you get things to automatically update with the correct data based on selecting the week start - what’s the function?
It's a hacky way but I did this so you could all set up your own sheets in future and I wouldn't have to manually update them every year 😏

download in here the free template. and go to google calender press gear icon (setting) in that activate week numbers. then week numbers will be visible
Which first week? You have to choose which month you want to display in the spreadsheet. Instructions are all in the blog, link is in the description box :)

Hii, I really like this calendar, unfortunately when I download it to excel, everywhere where `Mon or Monday`stands turns to DDD/DDDD.,. how can I change??

I didn't look into that, this calendar's meant to use in Google Sheets only. But I'm sure there's a way to sync it to Google Calendar somehow
