I mean to be fair this is true of any content or any expansion within the first 2-3 weeks. Hardcore official? Super hype. SOD start? Super hype
@@CRWeaventure SoD start was only super hype because we didn't know how dogshit the rest of it was going to be lol. Even phase 1 was kinda ass IMO and I played it like a degen.

What made cata pvp so good is that everything was able to be reacted to and defensives actually helped you, Unlike the later xpacs where you use 3 walls and still get 1 shot by some over tuned spec.
Retail is in the same state. Every spec is viable, defensives work and are needed against offensive abilities. Really loving Dragon flight!
I liked the wotlk playstyle more even though they messed up with shadowmournes and stuff. But 1v1 against rogue as shadow priest nowadays feels awful. They just heal through my dots, can make 10 mistakes in a duel and still win cause it takes like 15 seconds to actually kill them.
@janpetira5130 the problem is that the game isn't balanced around 1v1, it's arenas where it matters, especially in cata
@@Layerlol True that but if you are in a 1v1 situation in arena and there´s a rogue that overheals your vampiric touch, sw:d and devouring with recuperate, gets feared mutliple times and still has a chance to win, then that´s weird from a wotlk player perspective.

i dont get why people always launch a frostfire bolt into the target when they have a lance proc and a frostfire bolt proc up... first lance then firebolt... so u have 2 instant procs instead of one....

finally ppl are starting to realize the greatness of Cata exp
Love Cata and always has been my favourite expansion for PvP but it has its flaws. Last season casters get out of hand specially MLS with DS trinket and dagger. But most expansions have the same issue in the last season.

There is thing thats good for ppl to know, ppl should play for fun, when they are in mood for it sometimes when its scheduled ppl might feel like they are forced to, but its good to arrange it so ppl can opt out if their not in mood as situtiations can change, like you know sometimes spamming too much heroic is like no way, i dont want to, but maybe after some time, like hey yeah lets go run some more, so dont spam too much arena, dont raid too much, dont do too much heroics, dont force ppl to do so, it can be opportunity to swap ppl if few dont feel like it, maybe get to know more ppl, learn new stuff, try out new comp

@kamilmuza4417 they have an ability that stuns a target but it has very short cast time so you could step kick it to stop a CC chain on your healer. The odds of hitting it consistently are minuscule.

cata is bis man I have forever said it and will forever say it. Retail plays SO shitty compared to cata. Cata mechanics and class design feel PERFECT. Every class is actually good and FUN to play. Not just DH shwip shwop button smash bullshit.

Each to their own, I hate playing BG's and have farmed all my chars honour through WG. BG's are usually just farm or be farmed, it's really hard to make a difference on an individual level and coordinating randoms through chat rarely works.

why are arena players talking in the present tense now? "He skins He Skins" or "I block"--if the event already occurred then it ought to be spoken in the PAST tense like..."He Skinned!" or "I blocked"...is this simply the new wow trend that some guy once said, another heard him say...and now the masses all copy it? So cringeworthy tbh.

saving 100-200 miliseconds PER call-out with many call-outs per second makes the coms less cluttered and saves more time when you might call out a hundred things per minute. You call it cringe, but you are actually what is cringe

It’s just saving you syllables, it’s not like pros need to be told that when you say “block” it means “the enemy mage just blocked!”
They’re more so just listing the name of a spell to then check it off the checklist of things they don’t need to worry about anymore.
