I think the things flying around are just birds, they sometimes appear in the day time as well in certain areas, nice little scene though! I totally forgot you could go into that area

I did this my first playthrough then I accidently fell and when I restarted from the checkpoint I used his tail to blast the train instead and was surprised that i got a completely different scene which makes me think that there could be other alternative scenes just like this one.
Force of habit I presume. You've probably click that button hundreds of times over a playthrough, I think it's a understandably a bit natural to click it again lol

7:00, those were the barrels that I was missing.

Interestingly enough, if you pass out here, the end scenes take place at dawn. If you don't the end scenes take place at sunset.
