The broken candles can either be melted down for other candles or wax melts . If you pop them in the freezer it’s easier to get the glass off . Great haul 😊
Martin please please please take all the plants. There is no way they should be in the bin. Same as all the bags of soil. Another heartbreaker is all the books. I don't see why they can't be allocated to street libraries. It's insane what ends up in bins when they could be reallocated. Hello Everyone! I really hate when these stores dump their living plants! 👿I've rescued many and they come back bigger & better with WATER! The store employees are too lazy to water them. Perhaps they should go w/o water for 24 hours! Thank you Martin for saving a living thing!

Edit:Those parcel force dumpsters are a right little treat. I’d keep that location extremely low-key and wouldn’t show any scenery around those dumpster if I was you as it will attract more competition. Good find on all of those glasses!
Hate things going in the bin that at the least could be donated. All bins like this near me are in cages etc. I do look in skips outside houses though and have got some great stuff!
Books in the trash? Donate!!!! Library, schools, daycares, nursing homes, after school care, hospitals, assisted living, doctors offices, outpatient surgery centers, etc That is ridiculous
You may have found out the hard way, orchids require maintenance that is different for the other plants. They like to be watered by a fine mist. Don't make the soil wet. This is why they don't last in the store and get tossed.
@@simhifree I used to know someone who had loads of orchids and he said occasionally you have to drown them - fill up with water and leave for a day. Empty it out after of course. It makes the tendrils nice and plump. His orchids were amazing to be fair!

Don’t get me wrong what your doing is fantastic but I’m really struggling and now use foodbanks weekly, which believe me isn’t enough food to live healthy on (you get three days worth) and yet these bins are full of food. I’m curious why is it illegal waste, surely they can throw their own inventory if that’s what a business wants to do, I think they should be selling it all off cheap in store rather than land fill but maybe that’s just me wanting to see real bargains for us all😂
