This is probably 2Pac’s deepest song. So many layers to almost every line. I prefer this type over rap over his bragging efforts in AEOM. He was way more political on this album.
Also, he clearly says “time of B.C”, which is a double reference. One is to “how can you talk about things that happened at the onset of the Bible when I’m living where I’m living (in modern hell)” (this goes with the blasphemy theme), and how can you explain B.C (before Crack) when I’m living in it now in these times of green?

This is an amazing song this is poetry on the same level of Shakespeare, Chaucer, Langston Huges, Claude McKay Maya Angelou, this is incredible
