Kenya's judicial system is a JOKE. The accused who has all their lives on the line are only allowed to speak when asked questions, or to ask questions in defence; they can not poke holes in prosecution's case as it proceeds. Even worse, one's fate is usually rested on lawyers who are busy contemplating their domestic problems, concubine issues, uncollected rates or wasted time sitting there while they could be chasing more lucrative cases! We need an overhaul on how one is heard, by a jury of their peers with freedom to interject questions as witnesses fire their evidence!
