I can totally meditate to your voice. That is an education of a recipe from an angel. I am an avid lover of Roscoe’s. I’ve moved from L.A. and now live in Texas and nobody understands. It’s a religious experience. Thank you for your enthusiasm.
Thanks for the video! I like your teaching style. Just suggestion: please lower the volume of the background music. I found it hard to understand what you were saying sometimes.
Thank you for watching and for the feedback! This was one of my first uploads and I have since learned how to adjust the audio vs. voice over in my subsequent videos so hopefully you will see the difference. Thanks again, truly appreciate it! Best - Nika :)
Yes! I've made the batter ahead multiple times. Tip: place in a pitcher or a container with room for the batter to expand. Cover with plastic wrap then whisk the next day to release the air bubbles then cook! Good luck!
10-20-20: Hi Nika. Loved this tutorial and, as a matter of fact, I'm going to try to make it in a little bit. I can't wait and I'll let you know. On another note, though, your music -- I had to backtrack a few times to make sure I heard you right. TFS!!
Thank yo so much for the compliment and feedback! :) This was actually one of my first videos as a new UA-camr so unfortunately, took a bit to learn proper editing and sound leveling lol. I have since gotten more comfortable with editing so hopefully you will see that reflected in my other videos. Thanks again for watching and hope you will continue to do so! Best - Nika
Shalom Hebrew sister this is not to put what you're doing down because it's a great recipe the only problem that I have is that in the middle of everything you decided to say that you were doubling the recipe and it would be so much easier for us to follow you if you would just do a single recipe instead of doubling it and then when you're doing it privately you can double it but when you're showing people what you're doing it's just best to do a single batch it would make life so much easier for some of us that don't want to double thank you so much sister I hope you take this positive criticism you take care and most high blessing and keep you and family shalom sister
I appreciate the feedback and my deepest apologies for the confusion. 😟I will post the recipe and measurements for a single batch in the description box by tomorrow. Thank you so much for taking the time out, I truly appreciate it! 😊
@@marlaineselip4275 Hi there! If you click on the arrow next to the title it should expand the description box however, I've included the recipe directly below: Recipe for single batch: 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour sifted 2 Tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 cup milk 1/2 cup buttermilk 2 egg yolks 4 Tablespoons butter melted 1/4 cup canola oil 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 egg whites stiffly beaten Thank you so much for visiting and have a great evening!
Hi there! I have not tried to freeze batter only because I don't believe it will do well with baking powder. I would recommend cooking the waffles first then freezing which I've done dozens of times and they taste just as fresh as day 1. Double freezer bag and you're good to go! Hopefully this helps and I appreciate the question! 😊
THREE MONTHS sweetie!! 🤗🤗🤗It's a bit of work to prep so you can enjoy the extras for up to 3 whole months if they even last that long! 😉 Toaster oven, regular oven or microwave, any reheat method works, trust me!
Oh and they very well may use malt! This is a recipe I found online that I've used for years and the closest recipe to what Roscoe's taste like in my opinion 😌 but I say test it out and let me know what you think. I am confident you'll love it!😁

Thank you for this amazing recipe! New sub😍
Roscoes is great!
The absolute best!! 😁
Hi! Is this mix good the next day if refrigerated?
Yes! I've made the batter ahead multiple times. Tip: place in a pitcher or a container with room for the batter to expand. Cover with plastic wrap then whisk the next day to release the air bubbles then cook! Good luck!
Thank you!😃👍
@@NikasKitchenCravings will it be as fluffy if we whisk? I know you said to fold but I also would like to make this a day before
Hi there! Whisk "lightly" just enough to release the bubbles. You're better should still be light and airy 😁
Do you double the egg white & yolk?
I doubled the recipe in the video however the single batch recipe is in the description 😊
@@NikasKitchenCravings thank you

You have to be from Ca. To call it cali.
Has anyone tried this recipe? How does it compare
It's pretty good. We enjoyed this recipe. However I think Roscoes waffle has a little bit of cinnamon in it.
@@Niarasnicheco. I always thought the cinnamon is in the syrup and there’s nutmeg in the batter. Could be wrong though.
Damn sis you did that!! Looks good!!
Aww thank you!!😁
Thank you for the demonstration, but please turn the music down, because we can barely hear you over the music that you’re playing
I can not hear this. is there a recipe available?
Hi there! Yes, I'm so sorry, I was just learning to edit and completely butchered the audio levels🤦♀️. The recipe is located in the description box😊
@@NikasKitchenCravings thanks!. I was thinking that roscoes used malt in their waffles or something

Where’s the chicken part of the video…
Audio is very low I can barely hear you
No cinnamon!
Its looks much better than that BS Roscoes sales 20.00 dollars for 3 dried up wings and pathetic waffles! Thats for a great option!
