- On this episode of Rock Rods we are heading back to Texas to kickoff the 2018 Southern Rock Racing Series Season. Race 1 takes place at Northwest OHV Park in Bridgeport, Texas. There are quite a few new builds including Tim Cameron Stand Back and many modified rock bouncers from last year so it is anyone's game. We have two nasty rocky hills. With hill #2 looking pretty much impossible thanks to the rain. Who will come out the top with the SRRS win? Stay tuned to find out on this episode brought to you by Busted Knuckle Films.

Good to see the old format~!~
We never planned on quitting the old format
Great job on filming!
Thanks! Goforth tried to run me over, had to check out but kept the camera on him
Great show guys!! We're having our 3rd annual ATV and dirt bike competition Aug 3rd! Wellsville Ohio you guys should come!! It's been a awesome event every year so far!! Maybe you guys can even host an event in Wellsville Im sure you will love the hills😎
We don't film much ATV and Dirtbike stuff. A rock bouncer and UTV event up there would be fun but a 12hr drive or more
BustedKnuckleVideo rush off road is only a little over 4hours from me?🤔 Where are you guys located?
Alabama, Rush is 8 for us
BustedKnuckleVideo ok to bad I would love to see you guys destroy some of our big hills😎 maybe some day I will catch the show at rush👍🤘
The show in April is one of the best. Anniversary Bash
Okay so as the guys at Busted Knuckle Video know I am i Diehard Hollingsworth fan. I have a few things to say, number one being why in the hell did he switch his rear end to a solid axle and got rid of the IRS??? Also As Nick Mott asked is Brandon Davis in Unfinished Business? and Lastly what is Aaron Seldon running in the Agnes buggy, because personally it sounds the best to me so far this year and seems to be doing pretty good. After its win At the King Of Hammers im interested in what changes were made during the off-season. Thanks to All the Guys at Busted Knuckle For Bringing this Sport to us, and i look foreward to seeing Y'all this year at Moonlight off-road in Sullivan Missouri.
Clayton said the solid axle made for less belly pan to get over rocks. Yes B.Davis is in Unfinished Business (we got it wrong on the vid) Aaron seldon has a nasty stroker LS motor in there with nitrous. We will see you at Moonlight!
So happy to see u still doing ur videos, after that live $&(+, I thought that u was not going to do anymore...AMEN BROTHA... u still at it..best videos out there, y’all the best
Thanks we appreciate it, Live Feeds are cool for hardcore fans but you can't beat footage like this!
best opening music ever. more BLS!!! :D

All of you lot are bad ass racers anyway!
they do their best
Awesome video!
Thanks!
Was hoping to see someone launch off them boulders that are about 30 ft in front of that incline.
that would hurt
I’m ready to watch the races at windrock.
We will be Live on here tomorrow.
Tim Bacon Jr isnt a man of many words! lol He looks annoyed youre even talking to him!
Lol, I like to give them a hard time, I will get them to talk one of these days.
Gotta say one thing for that family, "There is a solid determination in the Bacon family genes." Especially 'ol Bubba, he's in it to win it. 🤗
I wont disagree with that, but they just seemed bothered by the camera. And again not everyone likes a camera in their face, but thats what makes Timmy and Clayton and others so personable. The fact they take the time to talk about what their plan is and what they are working on.
Been hill killing since before hill killing was cool
Give them time, I will get some words of wisdom out of them
You see Cameron's line!!!
It was nuts
Tim Cameron 💪👍👌
he wins a lot
Saw a guy towing a rock rig in Aiken, SC today. Red or orange cage
probably heading back from Tennessee, there was a big ride
Nice b tanner
he is a legend
Matt, did you forget to change the name on Brandon Davis's annotation tag? He's driving TC's "Unfinished Business," as I'm sure you know - or, does he still want to use the old name? If so, he should call it Showtime 3. Hahaha... 😉 Oh great video man, as always, good to hear the power and see the different perspectives, AND the driver interviews, busted parts, etc. Thanks!!! Oh yeah, Aaron Selden really upped the power on Agnes, I think that man is just a wee bit more serious this season. I think I saw/heard couple others with more beef this year, too. Gonna be fun... 🤠
Ah crap, yep I guess we missed that
It's all good man, I added some more complements to an edit up there after you posted this I guess, we definitely appreciate the driver contact, busted part info and all, great job!
if that's our only mistake on this one then we did good
Great show 👉 👌 👈 ( where’s Jake )
in the shop building buggies
They should give them a second chance to go back up after one roll over when the official's assist them. Instead of just an automatic DNF!
It is a timed event so that wouldn't do them much good
Tim Bacon Did not look happy after that run!
he wants to win
fucking awesome sport ! greetings from germany
Thanks for tuning in, the sport of rock bouncing is awesome. We have a lot of kids that tune in as well so if you don't mind keep the language so they can enjoy reading the comments as well. 👊
The very first buggy that ran what motor is in there that thing sounds absolutely awesome anybody know what he's running
You mean Matt Schuessler's "Attitude," I think I read somewhere it's a small block Ford with a power adder, I forget if it's a twin turbo or supercharger. I think the former, turbos tend to quiet the exhaust down a little, but still sounds nasty. I prefer the big blocks, Chevy-based like Tim Cameron's new all aluminum beast. There's a couple of big Fords out there, too. I don't think as many guys made it to this event as usually show up, maybe more will come when they're closer to where they live.
One NAsty LS motor
I sit corrected. 😎 Maybe the SRRS will pay someone to list all the competitors and what they're running one day... That'd be a very cool thing to do, methinks. 😁
They need a cheat sheet for the announcers to tell you that before each run
Yeah would be very cool to get some driver and buggy stats for sure! Then maybe people wouldn't be calling a supercharged LS a twin turbo Ford lol! Joking don't get ill.
All of you get back to work!!👇
Ha Busted
great fun to watch but cannot see the point of making a run impossible to climb when speed and skill counts...no good if no one can get up the track.....
You want it to be challenging but not impossible
Is Brandon Davis in ST 2.0 or Unfinished Business?
unfinished business
2.0 has rear steer
It's definitely "Unfinished Business," I think Matt just didn't get around to changing the annotation tag he had for him the last couple of years.
True.
I knew so, I just wanted to gently bring the labeling mistake to light.
Looking at the shot from this perspective (5:41), Outlaw1 mk2 does not look that good anymore :( It looks as if something was missing from the back, or it was not completed, or someone bit off his croup ...

In this picture, you can see the mk1 version - it definitely has better proportions. I wonder how a solid axle in the mk2 version will work.
He said the center "pod" would get caught or fall off the edge of a ledge with the IRS, and apparently, that was slowing him down. We'll see if he does better this year. I've never driven one of these things, but I think I'd just tighten up the rear shocks a bunch before going back to a solid axle, but then he may have already tried that and not liked it, too.
He climbed the hill
True, dat.
What he said makes sense.
@ Zeek Duff
So far, the solid axel works very well. The second hill was nasty, but it was not a problem for new mk2 version - I did not believe he would be able to climb this hill. From the camera's perspective it looked like something impossible to do. We'll see if he does better this year - you're right. It will be a very interesting season. Thank you for your answer.
Goood
Craazy Goood!
likesssss😎
we appreciate it
