@t.s.818 the mall is private property. The mall needs to ask for police/sheriff. They were probably slow in doing that. Similar to protests at UCLA where UC police refused to ask LAPD for help.

This pisses me off as someone who rides e-bikes; these damn spoiled brats are going to ruin it for the rest of us who aren't doing this BS. This is why we can have nice things...
I think the state is planning on passing new legislation making ebikes a vehicle hence you may need a license to operate in the future due to these idiot kids with no morals. I agree with another's comments made earlier, the state needs to impound these bikes and after multiple violations, set for auction.

This is in my neighborhood. Dirt bikes, electric bikes, and bicycles. The sound of the dirt bikes buzzing the streets and sidewalks is super annoying. Don't impound. Confiscate and charge them, and the kids and their parents should be fined. Super dangerous for anyone around. They ride at night on ebikes and dirt bikes with their lights off, it's hard to see them and they'll cut you off for fun.

The Sheriff Station is literally one block from the mall across the parking lot. The mall parking lot is used for drifting and other exhibitions of speed and the Sheriff does nothing. One person was killed one night and that got the sheriffs to come stare at the body.
On the other side of the station is Newhall Ranch Road. Every night it is used as a drag strip and the Sheriffs do nothing. Valencia is turning into just another SoCal wild west Hell Hole because the Sheriffs can't be arsed...unless you roll through a stop sign.
I think the Sheriff's Station moved to Canyon Country.
I used to do donuts at the top of the parking structure above the movie theater. Nobody ever cared back then. Good times

Complete idiots. I remember a time when we could walk through a mall safely. We would blissfully stroll through and visit our favorite stores. No one spoiled our fun and situations like that were the furthest from our minds. Our main worries were to get a good parking spot and then to find what we were looking for. There was no way stupid stuff like this would happen in those times. Somehow sometime discipline, humility, empathy, and just doing the right thing have been lost. I miss the 80's and 90's.

At RamonteMeans, ugh so tired of hearing security guards saying "It is not my job to stop people on motorbikes" , etc. It is your job to respond immediately to that situation to stop it and keep the people around safe. What isn't your job is to stare down playing with your cell phones on your shifts. And yet that's what we see you guys doing nearly all the time. Not paying attention and entertaining yourself instead on your cell phone. A security guard's job is to have his head up, be alert, and look out for and respond to anything that threatens the safety of others. And responding could mean calling the police. This nowadays garbage of "observed and report" accomplishes nothing, especially when most guards have their head down playing with their cell phones
Okay one of the bikers died in an accident. He was being reckless by putting lives in danger by taking over the mall and he dies. His recklessness took his life.
