I think many people identify with and yearn for a good tale of redemption, and I am really enjoying the show so far (5 episodes have been released as I write this). It's great that two of the main actors both love the source material so much, although I have not read the novel yet myself. I am not sure how well the show is doing from a ratings standpoint, but I would be sad not to see the story reach its conclusion. If it's not doing well, hopefully that changes at some point because it really is a compelling story with interesting characters who are well cast, and India is such an fascinating place.
