I just bought one and it sounds great however my only common is with the tone arm lever. One lifting it up and moving the needle over, then lowering the lever it doesn’t go right on the vinyl. You have to pick up the lever a little bit to go on the vinyl . Not happy with that
Interesting, Rock - it sounds like it may need a touch up. Might you be able to bring it to the shop you purchased it from for a closer look? Feel free to reach out to us: ask@gramophone.com
Thanks for the response. They recommended to order a new mechanism from McIntosh and replace it at no additional cost but for a brand new product it requires repair at what costs. Hummmm. Don’t get me wrong it really sounds fantastic but repair right out of the box.
$6,700 in Canada too much for a basic turntable your paying for the name good quality 29 lbs. Get a old VPI scout made in 2007 better table 37 lbs and you can buy used for 1500 or 1000 Canadian. Looks like your paying 5 grand extra for name and green mood lighting lol. Audio device makers know rich fools are easily parted from their money and snob appeals makes their egos weak and make them easy marks from even greedier people then they are. .
This guy has a great voice! Nice turntable!
Can’t wait to order this one ☝️ lovely review
We're glad that you enjoyed this review, Reuben. Enjoy your new MT2!

linn lp 12 the best turn table
It’s what I have . I love mine . It’s just as pretty but in a more traditional way. But yea the LP-12 is arguably the GOAT turntable .

VPI literally makes $90,000 turntables, if what you say is true how are they any better?
@@GramophoneMD There not but they do make a good table for average folks that they can buy without getting a second mortgage.
my 45 year old Technics is another universe to this junk
