I am in the process of transferring the notes from several Bibles into one, "master reference" bible, lol. It will take awhile.
I love my leather wrapped ESV, but I chose the interleaved version! I love having a whole page for notes between every single page of text. That way I can use it over and over as I read through. Life changing!

I have an Inspire single column journaling bible that I love to write in and color in. I am not in love with the NLT translation but I also have a crossway ESV thinline that I read from, thanks to your recommendation! I really look forward to your videos and feel like your attitude and positivity is contagious!

Phew, I made the right choice! After much deliberation, I recently ordered the NKJV Journal the Word bible, instead of the Cambridge 😛! I wanted to feel more free to get messy with the journaling bible!! 😆👍 So glad to see this vlog 😄

I'm a language learner and you're definitely right about writing down is better for soaking in information than typing or just reading. When I learned portuguese, it was something I would do a lot. What you're saying about when you're going through your bible back to find the right verses, it sounds so familiar! It's like.. you know in your mind it's somewhere in the bottom left corner and if you're gonna use colors as well, it's like.. oh.. 2 Timothy 3:16.. it's that blue highlighted verse and it's somewhere in the middle of the page, etc.
I'm glad finally a man says good stuff about journaling your Bible. When you look on the internet it looks like only girls do it. I ordered a CSB He reads truth Bible, but I wonder if I can write in it :(

Okay we have tons of Bibles, tons of journals and the biggest churches in the world..in Korea. But no Journaling Bible. I do have a study Bible I got 10 years ago... I could use that one or get it internationally shipped. Hmm...
I have to do a lot to get it to stay with me. I have to listen, write, and read.
I cannot bring myself to write or draw in a Bible. I struggle to even underline verses.
Use the larger sticky notes!
If you get a Bible specifically for writing in it'll help you. I have multiple bibles: one that I study from, one that I just read from, and one that I take notes in.

No, but I do recommend chronological reading plans.

May I ask why not? I did one chronological reading of the Bible, and it was incredibly helpful. I usually get confused in King’s and Chronicles and which prophet was speaking to which generation. After doing a chronological reading, the Old Testament became clearer. I’m planning on doing another one after my current schedule, so I am wondering what is wrong with a chronological Bible?

I think it is for theologians, pastors and ppl in seminaries. I think it will be super useful and better than 10 books on Bible tho!
I have always wanted to Bible journal but can’t get in the flow. I don’t know why or what I’m doing or not doing. I’ve tried different Bible translations and different book styles. Help! I pray, of course, pick a passage, or pick up from a bigger study, like a book study, and nothing good comes. Am I missing the Holy Spirit, or??
On a side note, I haven’t watched your videos in a long while, and while I like the beard, it makes you look as if you’ve gained weight. Unless you *have* gained weight-in which case that’s a different matter! But other than that the beard looks great, and gives you a more distinguished look, more mature. Good look!
Ok dude I found an crossway esv Bible in oley's . I bought it 3.99 great little Bible . Let's see how this translation speaks to me . I will probably get kicked out of church . Lol ok
