Hi man, thank you for you video. It was very interested. Question- How thin are the main backpack straps? Can I shoot a rifle without taking off this backpack? On many models, manufacturers specially thicken the straps with soft maturials, which increase the thickness of the straps, making shooting uncomfortable.
Good question! It is still holding up great, nothing is tearing or fraying. I have found that is is for sure just a DAYPACK ha, like I mentioned in the video the back pocket is pretty tight, and I found out while hunting I just couldn’t put most items in it conveniently, so it mostly went unused. As far as comfort and wearing for a long time it feels great when adjusted correctly. I would carry around 30 pounds most times and it rides on my back great.
Hey Straight Shooter thanks for the advice. I purchased the Crossfire 3-9 x 40 here at our local sports store today. But The Tikka rifle is still on route ‘ in the mail’ . ( getting a bit ahead of myself there - guess I needed some retail therapy ) Moving on, I’m gonna follow your advice and look for the dedicated Warne / Tikka rings. Hunting , no I don’t shoot anything midrange , because of our terrain, rolling hills, trees, and sub Arctic tundra, it’s either 200 yds or less , or greater then 1200 yds - which is out of range for me. The wife says Proverbs 3,5,6 . Trust in the lord in all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your path... Funny, I showed the wife 2 minutes of your video , and just asked the wife for a bible quote out of the blue But that sounds super appropriate considering our conversation. 🙏👍
It’s me again I You said you were a Leopoldo fan... I have a Leopold Variac III on my 1984 win model 70 300 win mag But I’m shopping for a new scope for my brand new Tikka 20 “ compac in .243. Do you think I will be happy with a new 3x9 Vortec crossfire on there? Your fan in Newfoundland ( that rhymes) Ed
Great review, thanks. I'm shopping for a decent new pack and this one is on my short list.

Thank you! Yes it is alittle thicker, I have always removed the pack when shooting

Hey Ed thanks for the comments! It comes down to your application, but in general yes the crossfire will work as a very solid all around scope
