In my opinion, the story is not so excellent in this film, BUT the jet scenes are just amazing and that makes it one of my favorite movies.

The french Mirage, the whole movie was shot with real planes, no CGI
Most of it was composite of real footage with CGI, yet its spectacular that they went to such great lengths for visuals.
@@RaptorMaitre the only cgi was the last dogfight scene, and some of the footage that the actors were flying. Almost all of it is real
