Salt free diets are completely unnecessary. It's one of the reasons why I strongly dislike 1 or 2 particular plant based doctors. Most days I don't eat salt or feel like I need it but some days I do and I would not thrive on a zero salt diet.

Diet is a very personal thing and depends on ones constitution, vegan or not. Eat natural, be balanced a and this is different for everyone.
