I'm glad you two are still friends after playing Mario Kart AND Monopoly lol! This looked like a fun trip though! That foot spa looked totally relaxing and refreshing!
I've enjoyed sliced cucumber in salads, but I've never just chomped down on one like a banana. Not even 2 minutes in, and you've shown me something I've never seen before, or even thought of doing. Thanks, Sarah! P.S. Edited to add I love how Alyssa will jump in with random facts and insights without warning. Her expressions of appreciation for nature was overflowing the banks of her discussion of Sunflowers moving to face the Sun. I enjoy people who share their knowledge in that manner, often leaving a group laughing, but a bit smarter too.
They don't bite into straight into apples here (only eat it sliced), but for whatever reason it's the norm with cucumbers haha Alyssa really does have an endless amount of facts!
I always love watching Sarah, but this Alyssa seems like such a lovely girl, too. And they seem to have such a happy friendship. I hope it last their whole lives. Looks like it will. ;-)
I go to school in Kawagoe! I've been watching your content between the various UA-cam channels for years it would of been so cool to see y'all filming and say hello!
Wow; I had no idea about Kawagoe, looks like such a chill place to explore! Will definitely be paying this area a visit! Also, that Airbnb looked bomb!
2:10 yes!!! French fries in ice cream is amazing, so many people never tried or or think it's weir but reason it's good is the combination of the salt and ice cream. Pretzels in ice cream also has a similar affect, the stick kind you can dip in the ice cream. So funny to hear her say this, i feel like it's rare these days.
I cannot love this channel more. You are a bloomin' legend! Alyssa brings such a genuine energy that matches yours. Thanks for the entertainment mate x
Loved Kawagoe when I went in June. There is an awesome little record shop/cafe called RerReRe no Recordo which has a great house made curry! I spent way to much money on vinyl there.
Agree. When travelling, all the take-away food - even if great - makes me crave some 'home cooked' meals after a while. The dishwasher is a big plus, too. @@seerasan 😄
I don't normally watch things in 4k, but I did for this. Thanks for all the less travelled Japan destination ideas! There are some other places you've covered that I want to visit. Edit: The foot spa looked very nice. Also, the matcha grass comment was hilarious. It was an acquired taste for me like natto.
@@seerasan i was lost trying to get to the train station in fuji area once and I walked into a random shop to ask for directions. Immediately the mom shop owner summoned her son to take me to the station!
I was taken to Kawagoe by my host family, and loved it. You guys showed me there was so much more I didn't see. I must go back someday. Cheers Muffy from Oz.
THX. Loved the video! Always fun to watch. Favourite place? Foot bath... Thanks also for Airbnb tour. The apartment looks great. Will keep details for next visit.
The Dynamic Duo strike again! I really enjoyed my time in Kawagoe this summer. A must for those who have not been. Those tortillas looked great. I need the recipe!
Jack in the Box seasoned curly fries dipped in chocolate shake are an addiction of mine. Alyssa's got the right idea! Also, I kinda dig the Hollywood shades/yukata look Sarah. Totally works! That AirBNB looks amazing, too! What a beautiful destination. Thanks for sharing! ...and I'm with Alyssa on the matcha thing. Not a fan....sorryyyy.
Thanks for showing Kawagoe. It would make a nice side trip from Tokyo. Which train did you take to get there? I’ll be arriving to Japan this weekend for a couple weeks.
What days of the week is Kawagoe open and closed? I have read Kawagoe is closed Mon & Wed. Can you please confirm? I will be visiting in August and would love to visit , Kurazukuri Street and Kashiya Yokocho , Candy Alley.
Which spot was your fav? ✨
PS - if you stay at the Airbnb, make sure to bring your own switch game cartridges! We used our own :)
The Seera sized bath? :P the mythical spacious bath tub.
The Animal Crossing themed monopoly set looks fun! The kitchen looked like my fav spot
Alyssa is such a great guest! She's so funny and beautiful
She totally is. I love it when they are together
This channel is like if Chris Broad was chill
🍦"...can't talk, must eat..." lol 😂 great video❤
Thanks to this video, my wife and I have decided to pay Kawagoe a visit when we come in December 🙂
Awesome!! You'll have the best time!!
Watching this feels like I just went on vacation lol
My favorite was definitely making the tacos with you! ☺️ thanks for taking me along with you!
I'm always happy to see you in Sarah's videos. You're absolutely hilarious.

huuuuge airbnb apartment!!!!, amazing time in Kawagoe in summer!
Alyssa is my new favourite person -- I can't stand matcha and it always surprises people when I tell them how much I admire Japan but hate matcha 😂

Such a nice location to go to school! Hopefully I’ll be back in Kawagoe again soon 😗
It tastes like grass lol. Agree!
Also Vegemite pajamas is about the most Australian thing I can think of.

Y’all need an umbrella when you’re in your yukata! I’m thinking that’ll help with the heat ❤

Kimono looks great on you how beautiful
My favourite youtube-pair back again, LOVE 💙💚❤
I have wanted to visit Kawagoe when I go to Japan but even more so with the foot spa!! 😍
You two looked great in Yukata. The foot spa looked like a wonderful thing to do after walking around the town.
You guys are so awesome, and Alyssa eating her melting ice cream was so cute 😍

I'll have to check it out next time I'm there! Thanks for the recommendation :)
Airbnb looked really interesting. Nice option to be able to cook and make dinner.
Love being able to cook while travelling, so highly recommend it!

Those wraps looked good!
You both look so pretty and stylish 😊 thanks for sharing :)
@seerasan Beautiful yukata. Glad to see, that you didn't get discouraged by your Mitama Matsuri experience.
Made sure to stay extra hydrated that day & take rests inside!
Really fun video again, looking forward to the next adventure!
"super friendly even by japan standards" -mind blown!
It’s surprisingly a real thing I experience when travelling to different areas! 😂

That airbnb looks so spacious! I want to stay there and also enjoy the projector 😮
And don't forget the DISHWASHER!!!
The videography, editing and content is getting better all the time. The channel deserves to be so much bigger.
Love to hear that! Always trying to improve each video a little bit!
Wait draft beer from a CAN?! And just as I thought Japan could not become more magical!
It’s the future 🍻
"taste like grass" 😂
Thank you for being so nice to me and my husband today at Sensō-ji It was really lovely to meat you, good luck filming in the rain.
Was lovely meeting both of you! Thanks for saying hi & enjoy the rest of your Japan travels 😁

I discovered you in one of Emma's videos. Your channel is entertaining and I enjoyed the last one on the train! Watching from California.
Thank you from Tokyo!! 😆

Watch out Alyssa! The tea is hot!
OMG living in innaka area of Japan, getting Mexican food was like a pilgrimage. If only I was a better cook back then.
Great video, ladies!!!!❤

Recently found this ch and have been binging, your friendship is so fun and enjoyable to watch.
You two are always so adorable together! I will definitely be adding Kawagoe to my list when I visit Japan next month! 🥰
This was my favorite kawagoe video by far and I've watched so many 😅
Airbnbにビルトインの食洗機があるなんて珍しいね!
charming as always...cucumber....oh my gawwww
Ginger goes with amazake. I guess because of that they served it as a condiment
Mecha KAWAII!! Seerachan! 😍♥️🇵🇭
Those tacos looked suspiciously similar to tostadas!
Wow looked them up just now & they do look similar! Maybe inspired by them 😆
Kawagoe calls “Small Kyoto” which mean atmosphere similar Kyoto. Does Kitain still has many turtles?
Naisu
Thanks for showing Kawagoe. It would make a nice side trip from Tokyo. Which train did you take to get there? I’ll be arriving to Japan this weekend for a couple weeks.
You can take the "Tobu-Tojo Line" from Ikebukuro to Kawagoe Station, only takes about 30 min! :)
going to salon du sake at end of the month in Paris (mixing with fries why not lol)
thanks
THX
お二人とも、浴衣が似合ってますねぇ😮
You can put ginger on the amazake.
Alyssa is the first native Texan I have heard talk with no accent at all.
Great vegemite T-Shirt. Can you get it in Japan.
It’s from an Australian brand called Peter Alexander. Sadly not here in Japan (yet!)
@@seerasan But can you get Vegemite in Japan?
川越ようこそ!

Women with their hair up like that are beautiful
So you took us to the candy shop
You guys have excellent chemistry. Have you thought of a collaborative channel...talk show with other ladies.
That is a tostada...
埼玉は良いぞ!

Would it be open around New Year's?
Bread? No Corn?
Corn? I'm lost 😂
Do you work at Tokyo creative still?
