Because Japanese is a very structured language. Each unit of sound is pronounced one way. Tsu is always pronounced tsu. Na is always pronounced na. So on and so forth. Whereas in English? "Bash" and "wash" don't rhyme. "Anon" and "canon" don't rhyme. "Arbiter", "biter" and "liter" don't rhyme. "Athlete" and "machete" don't even come close to rhyming. It's a shitshow.
