Hey Eclipse! Thanks for all these helpful tips and tutorials. I think that newer players could really benefit from a tutorial video based around the lower tiers. Specifically tiers 3 and 4 with the starting tanks available. It can be quite harrowing to jump into this game with no good tanks, no commanders, and no upgrades.
Extra tips 1- if you die don’t scream and call your team trash 2- if you play arty drown right away and go play a real tank . 3-don’t ever camp at the back if you are a heavy 4 - please for the love of what’s good don’t push people onto enemy fire
Great tuition video Mucker.since we lost the training mode it must be a sharp learning curve for new players. Saying that some of the veterans of this game still don't do the basics.
If you have a strange feeling that artillery is ranging in on you, always assume that's the case. Especially so if you're a top tier tank. Moving erratically, suddenly stopping or starting, keeping an eye in the sky to spot tracers coming towards you are good ways to help avoid direct hits. If you've been spotted briefly going one direction and become unspotted, change direction. Also helps to stop artillery from predicting your movement. Then again, after 6.0 its not really the arty that's the biggest threat. Its the 7-8 tank Zerg rush that players seem to do is nowadays...
Missing from this list: When you load into the map, *LOOK AT THE ROSTER* to see if you're bottom-tier, mid-tier, or top-tier. Context is key in deciding where to go from spawn. Adapting to the battle tier, and getting an idea of what enemies to expect, will greatly improve your survivability. I didn't start loading prem shells til 2 or 3 years in, but knowing whether my armor belonged in the frontlines, and knowing whether there was a Waffle E-100 on the enemy team, checking these helped me stay alive long enough to really start improving at the game.
Excellent !!! iv currently been experimenting without 6th sense on some crews and although i get skill/perk advantages i always take more damage. I thought you could have gone a bit more in depth with the prem rounds. Like germans use the much higher velocity apcr rounds where as heat has the usual slower almost arced shot. With most of my German heavies i do get lazy and use prem most of the time just cos it gets thier b4 they can pull away and at close quarters its devestating to modules and crews. Really helpfull thanks 👍👍
Great tips, really helpful. I have been looking for a WoT console youtuber for a long time and i have found the perfect one, all of your videos that i have watched so far clearly have a lot of effort put into then, which is always nice see. Thank you very much!
Can we all agree that Eclipse puts so much effort into making content for us? Edit: Sorry I haven’t been watching, my yt kept crashing every time I opened it.
I thought to watch this 'general' beginners tips video of yours as I am in mid cooking dinner.. Glad I did E, as after getting much more use to 6.0 and now fully unlocked centurion 7/1, I'm now utilising food.. since I got T54E2 I used single shot gun.. After watching Vishaws video on the tank I quickly anticipated when to use food effectively., I got 2nd overall and over 2K Dmg. Just yesterday I accidently sold Target info equipment. WG are nuts to leave this 2.0 system as is... Enjoying your videos as ever E...🌞👍
Very much appreciated E., It's great we can ask your input and your darn helpful... Just was in game with Rikitikitave on the opposition in snakebite on Mines., I came 1st on my team, he came second overall with his team winning, it was a brawl (I put 5 to 6 shots in snakebite), he tried yoling me. Just noticed from Retro clan I was also against ShadyDealings, no wonder it was full on... I suspected they were in platoon.. Recently I been playing with new friends., God knows what's happened to the clan I'm/was in... I will ask my new friends if they like to join me in your clan.. I like consistent communication that senior members of my clan lack.... 🙏🌞 Do hope your studies your managing to keep up with and it's going good..🙏 Many a best wishes for u and Easter dude... If you care to add me my tag is WaitedRogue7., on Xbox one 'still'..
You must've had a really good game then!! Studies are going well, I have exams at the end of May so going to be preparing lots of videos to push through that time with consistent uploading. Hope you have a good day today! 😁😁
Dont sit next to tank destroyers or camping lights. One of the worst habits a lot of players have and it ruins any kind of advantage the light tank or tank destroyer is giving the team
How about tips that dont cost you an arm and a leg and would allow the average player to make money - as using a gold/silver repair kit etc for most players will lose them money game after game after game and the same goes for gold ammo too. Also though i agree with you about learning you're weak spots but again for the average player this is not going to happen and is asking a lot.
I use gold a lot, my tip is complete the season really quickly then get all the silver bonuses add them to the after season event and the weekly events and tech tree tanks make good money with limited gold use
@@cloraformsgood5340 So do i but i would rather suggest things other than saying tip 1 to get better.. spend money - there are lots of other things you can do that requires a player to not spend.
@@taylormadetactics yeah I agree but what I was saying was about being able to use premium and not lose money. My tip for new players is follow what Eclipse says. I had a couple of friends that taught me over the years, they basically said everything Eclipse has said in his videos and you will earn silver.
@Blackhawk surely you cant be happy with new people playing t9-t10 without knowing map locations, weak spots, game mechanics, where to go without getting hit my arty?
Thanks olly, Im pretty sure you were in my game yesterday on Abbey when someone in a light tank yoloed you at the beginning in the middle, ight be wrong but you are in clips clan so was a guess
Sixth sense is normally my second to go to first being the crew xp boost perk so I can hammer through the 39k xp then add it Only down side to sixth sense is the over cautious players out there or those who don’t want to get their tank scratched When it’s a great time to push or flank or support fire they are the ones who just hide and wonder they are facing a 8v2 They are on par with yolos, lemming trains and artie main players XD
Another great video first time I've seen you destroyed in gameplay 🤣 if they bring in modern tank's a night time battle map using thermal imaging wold be awesome where a lot of thought has to be put into what your firing at 🖖
Unfortunately I tend to get destroyed in quite a few aha, I put that gameplay in because I managed 4.5k damage in a tier 8 game in the hellcat 105 and we still lost 😢😢
What makes you think it's redundant? Personally I think Its key in order to strategise when your out spotted who the tank is likely to be, when to pull back away from potential damage etc. I think it's super important.
@@EcliipseHD maybe redundant isn't the right word. What I mean is if everyone uses it and it's a must have all tanks should then just have 6th sense by default and it shouldn't be a perk at all because its so good its not an option if it's a must have.
Sixth sense activates when any person on the enemy team spots you within their view range and as soon as it disappeared you go invisible on the enemy tanks screen
The consumables pre 6.0 were a lot better, And the same as the PC. I don't agree with you on that tip. I hardly use the premium ones unless I get them for free. I always train brothers in arms first then sixth sense, but I agree you need that perk on your crew. I'm not a unicom player that spams gold ammo either. If you train your crew skills right you don't need them. I play very much as free to play as possible. The new season pass is worth the money 100% but everything else bar premium rounds can be picked up for free. If I ever encounter a tank I can't pen, then I disable it by tracking, or swith to HE so I'm at least causing some damage.
Hey guys, does anyone else’s x2 xp bonus challenge of “play a game” that you unlock after the season pass actually work? It says I got it but then it just doesn’t appear in my boosters (same with all commander bonuses for about a month)
I really liked your other beginner guide! I bet this one is class too!
Glad you think so! Hope maybe these will apply to world of tanks PC and Blitz too!
Great tips eclipse!! Keep up the world of tanks content!!
Thanks! Will do! Glad you like the tips and tricks videos!!
Great tips for all and reminders as sometimes we get back into bad habits....
Haven't even started but I know this is gonna be good, thanks 4 the tips I'm about to see. :)
Why thank you! Hope this one is decent for you!!
Thanks for thinking of "the rest of us" by offering these tips! Very much appreciated! Rock on, brother! 👍

Very true! Thanks for watching tony!
Loving your videos eclipse! Keep it up, good tips to use for sure especially sixth sense is so important in world of tanks!!
Thanks for covering the aiming mechanics, the diff shell velocities are what throw me off.
Listen to this guys it helps so much to the new players here
This kind of content is needed now more than ever before.

Thank you, I appreciate you thinking they help, just hoping I can keep making them!
There's so much to learn. Glad i subscribed 😎👍🏻
Got plenty more guides and tips etc to come, hopefully they'll be useful for you!
Another tip: avoid looking at someone when your not ready to shoot. People tend to get back into cover if they are they are targeted
Great video but would like to see some tips that are more related to heavy tanks
Hello Eclipse, Been playing WOT for a minute, your tips for playing the game are "spot on" , Thank-you!
Keep em coming 👌
Will do!
Can we all agree that Eclipse puts so much effort into making content for us?

Realy liked the vids on how to play certain maps in different tanks. It would be cool to see one on port with a heavy or medium tank.

Great video, but This should be titled tips for new players. All these tips should be basic knowledge for most players at this point.
Dont play high tier unless you played atleast 5k battles in t5-t6 so you learn team work, maps game mechanics
@Blackhawk as in mm? When i play t6 to mark them I hardly get t8
@Blackhawk what would you suggest? Just t5 or t3-t4
@Blackhawk maybe but they cant go straight to top tier without learning
@Blackhawk surely you cant be happy with new people playing t9-t10 without knowing map locations, weak spots, game mechanics, where to go without getting hit my arty?
Just fire premium rounds, it's what all the best players do........
Hi watching this just to help you because I don’t need any of these when I’ve been playing the game for 7 years ❤️
Thanks olly, Im pretty sure you were in my game yesterday on Abbey when someone in a light tank yoloed you at the beginning in the middle, ight be wrong but you are in clips clan so was a guess
I should make vids to help others...
"Watch closely guys & whatever you do, don't copy me & you may be ok!" lol
Lol 🤣🤣 same
😉
I remember when the game told you the shell velocity. Ahh, the good ole days LOL
Would be better if u showed us some examples in game 😕

6th sense is redundant if its a must have perk wg needs to rework it

Question, clipsemeister... does sixth sense only light when they have line of sight to you or, if you are anywhere in the enemy's view cone?
Sixth sense activates when any person on the enemy team spots you within their view range and as soon as it disappeared you go invisible on the enemy tanks screen
I3 marks the 5/4 without Sixth Sense that was the only tank I didn't have it on
It's usually so head on it doesn't matter you don't have 6 sense tbh, one of the most broken tanks tier for tier aha 🔥🔥
Thank you

I think it just applies it after the battle
Current 6.0 six sense is pointless as you can be snapped shot by heavies from 300m even when you are set up in ambush location pre aimed for them.
Ironically I have 54M silver, and I don't think it's enough. 😂🙂🙃
