I was reading Viktor Frankl , and he mentions "the will of the nature" in his book "Man's Search for Meaning in Life". Aurobindo Ghose ( popularly known as Sri Aurobindo ) also mentions "the Divine will" in his concept of "Integral yoga". They both mentions how we can align ourselves with the nature's or divine will and make our decision making extremely efficient , that we may feel at peace even in stressful situations, knowing that whatever we is going to happen , will happen according to the divine's will; and we are but an instrument. As a 21 year old, I find myself reflecting on this topic a lot. Since I have faced scenarios where I primarily did not wanted to be in but later they benefited me. Also there have been scenarios where I didn't wanted to be in and they turned out to be bad. There are some people who say to focus on the details , there are some who say to not focus much on the details since we can waste a lot of time thinking about something which may not be of value. But is it really that complex as much as I think of it is ? Or is it that I am just young and need time to understand the whole concept of the nature's will ? I am agreeable by nature and take decisions according to what my family would also agree. These decisions have done a significant damage of time and energy. I do not want to waste anymore time of my life. I want to stay strong on my boundaries with people, even though I feel lonely most of the time. How should I approach life ?
Hello, thank you for sharing your heartfelt reflections. The fact that you are contemplating these ideas is a gift; do not be too hard on yourself-nothing goes to waste. : ) Your age definitely plays a role in your energies and relationships as they will continuously evolve along with your boundaries. Use the instrument, as you say, to be harmonic and melodious, and if not, it’s okay-it’s all practice. Remember, “You” are already awake as the awareness beyond any identities. Wishing you all the best. ❤️🙏
It is true that there's another 'will' per say. The most common will we have is based on survivalism, that's where our desires come from, our impulses and so on. Perhaps that is why each one of us think to be the main character .. haha. To put it short, that will is based on Thought. And thinking is absolutely necessary for one to navigate in the world. BUT When it comes to 'inner liberation', or witnessing one's delusion or being in awe with life, or looking at suffering without any force or control .. That is where thinking has no place whatsoever! Only observation takes place, but of course our minds are so preoccupied that thought comes in and we become neurotic hehe. This is what being human is. Takeaway from all this is that this 'divine will' cannot possibly come to you through time .. There is no "path" to enlightenment. You know, there has been people who have meditated for 25 years, lived in India (for spiritual entertainment really) and got no where. This should tell something. ALSO using words as 'divine will' is very dangerous to me. As it paints a picture of something marvelous. And many of us are so discontented with our lives, we want something more. This is called the "chaser effect". But we don't understand that it doesn't work like that.. when in fact, order comes from the understanding of disorder. So it's good to find that 'healthy pressure' in life. As you may know, if you live a comfortable life you really have nothing to do inner work with. Whereas if you have balance, you're constantly learning from life and faced with challenges too. Sometimes you may forget that we are here for a very brief visit and you may take things too seriously, but that's just life as a flawed human. It's also a reminder to be vigilant, living with a questioning mind like child, innocent.
@@CollectionOfTheTimeless Sir you are a true fan of Jiddu Krishmaurti as I can assume from your comment. I agree with you , but Jiddu Krishnamurthy does not explains many things as I want them to be explained. He only does that because he do not want to entertain the curious human brain. I have gained a lot of insight from his teaching but I do not take his words as the absolute. Since he disregards all form of practice and always speaks from a different dimension that what we can understand from our current state of being. His teachings are always either 0 and 1 but nothing in between. I personally like to learn from everyone's experience be it a normal conditioned human being or a liberated soul like Aurobindo or Jiddu. I also like your take on "healthy pressure" and not living a "comfortable life". Thank you for your comment
@@B-SharpBenchmarks Yes, K spoke with clarity but was flawed like everyone. I think David Bohm actually made his message better with dialogue. One thing which always reminds me is that you cannot really talk about life deeply enough, On the internet. It's like talking about feelings through phone with your friend. It may feel affectionate but it is still missing out a big part of what makes up genuine communication.
Yes that makes sense when we want to talk on a personal level. No matter what we try to convey what we have learnt ,we would find it tough communicating to the other side of the Internet. We can only do that with someone ok physically present with us or who consents to voice chat over internet. This also makes it tough, since finding people to talk about the exact things that we want , is tough.
love always
