Government to Reclaim Full Ownership of LSL and RIPEL

- Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele says the Government for National Unity and Transformation will secure and buy back full ownership of Levers Solomon’s Limited (LSL) and its subsidiary, the Russell Islands Plantation Limited (RIPEL). This move aims to return control of these important real estates to the Solomon Island government and its people.
Good one. A step forward to recover our economy. I wish the government would do the same for Logging companies. The government should own all logging companies operating throughout the country.

Sad, the past govrt decisions create future govrt headache to returns its land from the crooks.
What about Anuha island. I over heard Kemakesa govrt of his time ready to pay off back.
This should be a positive sign for Central province, once a flourish province now on her knees. Those left were Solomon Taiyo, Anuha, LEVER/RIPEL etc.
That's a good move Gnut. When you gain full control over the LSL please don't sale more land to the Chinese investors. Again do not used excuses like the gov't have doesn't have enough money to settle this so you loan from PRC or a private Chinese businesan. How bout citizens living in those lands
Those that squat illegally will be remove and send back to their respective provinces.
Those who stay legally will have legal rights that the government must settle.
Those that claim to have rights in some pockets of those land can find a ferry/bout back to malaita.
