I read that this song was originally going to be written for Jai but when her grandfather passed away she changed the sing for him and I'm so glad that she did. because that bastard of her ex-boyfriend doesn't deserve anything as lovely as this. he wasn't even there to support her when this happened. she loves her grandfather more than him and good for her. I know how she feels... :( My grandma passes a year ago. She was such a beautiful lady, she was so sweet. Isn't it so sad that the best people have to go first? ;( I miss her sooo much. I would do ANYTHING to get her back. But I'm just happy that now she's in a beautiful place. She isn't suffering anymore. I remember seeing her in the hospital, seeing my mom cry and me wondering what was happening. Watching my grandma suffer in that hospital bed. Watching her barely talking. :( She will always stay in my heart.

I never met my Grandparents from either side and lost my dad in 2001 to Leukemia. Stay strong, focused and keep inspiring others every chance you get because life is too short and you never know when it's your time to go or 1 of your loved ones! I cried before she even started singing. Grandpa Grande makes my heart break every time I see a picture of him or hear his voice. I know that everyone dies and that he lived a long life but I still feel like he was gone too soon 😭😭😭 All the achievements that Ariana has done and will do in the future, it just feels so sad not being able to see how proud he is of her. He would be so proud of Ari for being female artist of the year in 2017 without even releasing any new music in that year. Rest In Peace. ❤️
