Ok guys the plastic hole fix was a hella great idea and went to all that effort to then finish the project in a terrible bad way mixing the putty with hardener on the damaged area is not a good idea ever ..sanded it then sprayed it and it still looked like a piece of 🧀 cheese ..c'mon bro u were so close to getting it right , even with the spray that was wrong..u used zero primer, or gap filler , nor several coats like it should be , I just think when u went to so much effort why not try get the best finish possible ...as the project was over all a success and good idea ...but terrible finishing like I said twice now ...my OCD couldn't allow this to happen
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I understand your dissatisfaction with the final finish. When doing DIY projects, the finish can greatly impact the outcome, and you're right-additional layers of primer, filler, or multiple coats might have resulted in a better finish. What do you think about trying again with extra steps like using primer or filler for a more perfect result?
