I visited Brazos in the late 90s and there were gators everywhere, some chilling by the side of the path. It was winter though so they were probably more sluggish than usual.
@@TheDaytripper Christmas is the place to be it's a small country town and the gators are always hanging around the park sunbathing even during the cold winter months. The park is awesome must of been there at least 8 times or more plenty of dirt roads winding around the lakes n swamps including nature trails circling around the woods which connects to the Florida Trail. Very rare that you wont see a gator unless if Maintenance is out there fixing a pipe line or something LOL.

It’s sad how the swamps and lakes are drying up. I went yesterday and they’ve dried up at least 3ft
