Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials. There is no-one near me who teaches pyrography which was disappointing to me until I found you. You have taught me so much . Thank you immensely.

      Hi Shirley,
thank you for the kind words. I'm glad my videos are helpful.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of places to find in-person help with pyrography. The best thing I can think of is to check with a wood carving club and stores that cater to wood carvers. They often have pyro demos and know of any upcoming classes.

      Hola Fernando,
Gracias por el amable comentario. Dada la increíble obra de arte que crea, creo que debería producir videos tutoriales.

    Hi Brenda!
Whenever I see your reference photo I say 'This looks difficult!' and then I see you succeeding in it anyway! Every wood-burning artwork seems like a challenge very easy for you to handle, your passion for your work will always remain an inspiration for me, believe me!
You are doing incredible work here both in your art and giving inspiration to people ^^
I wish you a beautiful weekend lovely ^^ looking forward to your next video ^^

      Hi HAD!
You are so sweet and kind! Let's be honest, my artwork is nothing more than replicating a photo I skill. It requires technical skill that anyone can learn. Your artwork, on the other hand, is very creative. I'm always awestruck on the designs you come up with!

Another wonderful tutorial from you Brenda,. I have noticed that you are really good at observing the subject matter. That's key to producing a realistic artwork.
Your expert shading skills brings the hair to life !
Loved watching this, big thumbs up for the Q O P )

      Hi DK!
Thank you for the fantastic comment!
I've had many, many years to work on my observation skills. Not that they are perfect as I've discovered that I missed some detail after I finished the artwork. I look at the problem and think how the heck did I miss that?!
Have a fantastic rest of the week!

That's cool you're doing hairstyles. Wood placards would be cool for barbers to put in their shops. Brenda, do you have barbers as clients?

      Hi Dennis,
thanks. Someone requested tutorials on hair, so I'm working my way from short to long.
No. I tend to avoid commission work as I don't like the pressure.

Good morning, what wood are better to make pyrography. Thanks.

It's not so much what woods are best, but instead what woods are available. With the current price of wood it is also a matter of what is affordable. I like basswood the best, but I can't always get that. I also like maple and poplar, but they are super expensive right now.
Birch plywood is something I can almost always get and it's a lot cheaper than maple or poplar.
