I found your video , what drew my attention was your guitar . I had an Ibanez Concord , i got it in 1974 , i had that guitar for 30 odd years , i wore it out . People used to comment on how good it sounded . Dare I say it better than the Big G . In August 2024 I got an Epiphone Dove , it is a Great Looking guitar . You are fortunate to have your Hummingbird in Great Condition .
Thank you. I bought mine in 1976 out in State College, PA. It has had the nut replaced and a bridge fix as the bridge was pulling on the body. I played it in a country band and had a double humbucker from musicians friend back in the mid 80s. It's been through alot but I love it and wouldn't dream of getting rid of it. I appreciate your comment and your story. Thanks again
Thanks for answering , on my Ibanez ( it was a Concord model ,it was a Hummingbird ) , the bridge started lifting from the body after a while , so now on my Dove after playing I loosen off the strings so there is no tension on the bridge . I paid $1,000 Australian Dollars for it , I believe they go for about $ 500 in USA , do with the exchange rate . I live in Sydney , my hero was Johnny Cash , he was the reason I persevered with the guitar . I have 2 Electric Guitars with Humbuckers , and a Squier Telecaster with the 2 Single Coil pickups , and my Epiphone Dove which has a Piezo pickup in the body of the guitar . So I can play Country , Rock n Roll , and Blues .

Thank you. I appreciate your comment very much. the song was first recorded in1945 by Roy Acuff, and has since been recorded by Hank Williams, Don Gibson and even Tony Bennett. Thank you for listening.

Your guitar has a very pleasing tone .. I have not heard this song before but your performance sounds country classic. ♬‧*˚˚✧♬
