His Excellency the President attends the RFMF Band Centennial Celebration

THE Republic of the Fiji Military Forces marked its 100th Year Centennial anniversary celebrations led by a military tattoo in the presence of families and friends at the ANZ stadium this evening.
His Excellency, the President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote, the Hon. Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, cabinet ministers, former President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau and the diplomatic corp. attended the event.
The celebration culminated with the musical performances by the RFMF Band, Fiji Police Band and the National Youth Band.
The military personnel also enacted how they carry out peacekeeping duties in war torn countries and displayed their skills through activities like Hapkido which the soldiers use to improve their abilities to carry out their duties.
