The most urgent problem that table tennis is facing right now is wtt’s stupid camera angle that is destroying the joy we get from watching table tennis. There are certain objective facts, and in no other sport people have to discuss the camera angle. Whoever is responsible for this just lacks sufficient cognitive capacities but the rest of the world shouldn’t suffer because of this person’s damaged eye vision and intelligence. ADAM YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN STOP THIS MADNESS. DO SOMETHING TO SAVE THE FUTURE OF THE SPORT!!!!
Oh my gosh. Seriously !!!! Tina was so much fun and I was thinking when she started singing that I couldn't sing for a minute without a karaoke screen to prompt me. Doing that in the middle of NY while bouncing the ball and with a crowd watching was next level. Well done Tina and congrats Adam on a well fought win.
Hello everyone, I'm Tina! Table tennis is my hobby, and I’m an amateur table tennis player. In 2022, I participated in one of Adam’s videos, "Beat Me, Win $100". There are so many people supporting me in the comment, so I decided to start my table tennis account on Instagram and also post videos on TikTok and UA-cam. My goal with these social media accounts is to hope my content will help other people learn more about table tennis (like teaching them how to play it) or grab their interest in table tennis.🏓 Thanks Adam for inviting me to do the rematch!☺ Adam is a very good table tennis player and hard to beat. But, this is still a pretty fun and incredible experience.❤ I also want to thank all my sweet followers for all the support and for giving me the motivation to keep making content!🥰 Let's keep ponging
Apart from his dorky fishing snakes, he seems to be able to pull off some genuinely world-class drives, esp. bhs, with world-class _percentages_ , shots that are normally cherry-picked for "you won't believe this" compilations. Given an opponent's 7,8,9 point advantage, most of us couldn't afford to try any of those, it's simply a challenge getting the ball safely on the table over and over again, trusting in the lesser player's inconsistency.
Yooo she was getting better and better as the march progressed. She’s got huge potential and hit some pretty amazing returns so I can definitely see her becoming great if someone like Adam trains her!!
I really like her style and how she put you in some difficult situations with some shots. You definately weren't expecting some of her returns. Nice clip, hope to see her again.
Love what you do for the sport. I wish more trainers over here in Germany would embrace your way of presenting table tennis as a sport that is not only for boring old men. Please keep up the good work! 🙂
Adam has the most entertaining table tennis videos I have ever seen :) The editing and the interactions with the players are very engaging...not to mention some of those shots are amazing!
Hey Adam ! Thanks a lot for the amazing content you bring to the world and all the fun. You really amaze me with your openness and the fact that all your guests seem to have lots of fun! Tina was wonderful !! Best from Switzerland ! Hey Adam, in Norway there is a group of comedians who have started playing table tennis and sending it on tv, called bordtenniskameratene (table tennis buddies). They are really funny to watch and make the sport more popular in Norway. They are also promoting table tennis!
I will be forever grateful to have found your UA-cam channel a year ago, Adam.. You spread happiness. God bless you, good man. I hope you will always be healthy and happy..
You can see, that she has a lot of control whenever Adam is playing "normal" table tennis. But it's really hard, especially for young players, to adapt to weird spin and techniques! I have the same problem, when playing against self taught players.
@@Totoro_J Yes! At our table tennis club we have a monthly tournament and the best part about it is, that I always play against total strangers with different playstyles. It's fun to adapt.
Tina played amazingly well! I'm convinced she has the skills to go pro if she wants to. My favorite part of these videos is the reactions from the people on the street looking in!
Hey, Tina! Don't let the part of your hand between your 1st finger and your thumb touch the wing of your racket. You're choked up on the handle way too far. Slide your hand down until your hand no longer touches the wing. This will allow you to hit harder because of the fact that you'll be able to get more spin (which makes the ball drop sooner on topspins) due to the increase in your racket head speed.
Also: When the lobs come in shorter on the table, you can always step on the side of the table, which will give you the ability to swing harder at the ball. Since you're short, lobs are going to be an issue for you, especially short lobs. I noticed that you're obviously aware of this because you're clearly afraid to SMASH the crap out of the ball when the lobs come in. Clearly, you've learned to be afraid because you've missed 'easy' smashes consistently. First of all, NEVER be afraid to go for the correct shot. Always smash those lobs with everything you've got. Second of all, try using your body to smash the ball. Keep your arm fully extended throughout the shot and try to smash the ball as hard as you can. Aim for dead-center of your opponent's side (length-wise and width-wise). You always want to be making contact with the ball when it's at the height where your racket is when your arm is fully extended and you're fully in your smash swing (when swinging as hard as possible). Now, if you know the ball is going to bounce too high, and that you'll have to wait for it to come down, DON'T WAIT ON IT. In that scenario, you need to swing very early, before the ball can get too high for you. Time it to where you're still making contact at the right time for you. Just don't wait on it to drop to where you can hit it. If you absolutely must allow it to drop, then forget the smash at that point. Take more of a forehand drive instead.
Really really thank you for writing so much comments❤ Really useful advice and suggestion! I've already written down your comments in my notebook😆 It needs to take a lot of time and practices, BUT I'll try it!!! TYSM💕
@@tabletennis_tinatsai I just noticed something else too, and that's your feet. Try this: Stand with your feet perfectly together. Then, slide your right foot backward until your right big toe is even with half the length of your left foot. Then, spread wide into your stance. Once you do that, then stand in your initial position (near your left sideline) and point your feet directly at the corner diagonally from you. Now, you're in a proper stance. Try to keep that stance. The other thing to remember is: Your initial position in a point should be where your backhand covers the left side corner of your side of the table. What I mean is that you shouldn't have to reach across your body for any backhands up to that left corner. So basically, just get in your stance and do normal backhand swings without a ball until your backhand is perfectly in that corner. The reasons for this are: It's difficult for your opponent to attack and make the ball go over the sideline, which would make you have to reach across your body to hit the backhand (if you didn't move, that is). You're covered with your backhand, even if they hit it into your corner. Then, this makes your forehand ready to attack anything that comes in a huge area of the center of the table. Plus, you can actually cover the majority of the table with the forehand. The forehand is able to attack with quality even when making contact too far in front of you, too far behind you, too inside, too far from you, too high, and too low. Your backhand cannot do this. Your backhand really can't attack like that at all. It can only bring the quality when the circumstances are optimal, or very close to it. As soon as the circumstances are slightly less than optimal, your backhand no longer has the attacking quality (this applies to everyone, obviously). Anyway, I hope that all of this makes sense and that it helps you.
Hey Adam, I stumbled on your videos and cant stop watching. Your playing style is unquie. In a world off all out offense, yours is like an art form that people can appreciate. When is your next $100 challenge? I might be there😊
Well played ! sometimes it looks "bad" when not beeing able to hit high balls but this is really hard especially when Adam Curves the Ball so well ! Sadly she made some bad descissions dropping the ball when Adam was close and hitting hard when he was already far away but its very understandable especially when beeing nervous playing someone who is not only much better but also kinda famous ^^
This is very true. I don't think people realise just how hard well executed lobs can be to hit. It's also something that very few players actually practice much, so even very good players fall for it sometimes.
@@parkourfreerunning4788 lol, I doubt you would look any better then her playing against Adam. I played a 4 point match against him and looked like I played table tennis for the first time even though I was placed ~10.000 out of 500.000 in my country for a while
