I *hate* the storyline at 1:30.00. Kicking her daughter out of the house because she didn't want to take care of her brother while she went floundering around with a man is diabolical on so many levels and then the "domestic technician" still placing it on the daughter to have been the mature one and "compromise" is disgusting. The mother was wrong on multiple accounts. 1. Floundering around with so many men to the point that you're daughter is tired is wild because don't your children's feelings matter too? Tf? 2. The daughter stated that not only does the mom go about with men but when those men show their asses and disappoint her, the whole house knows and she sees her mom mope around and bring down the mood of the whole house, okay so she's emotionally immature too and her going on these dates don't even help? This is- wow. 3. The daughter had plans and informed the mother ahead of time but the mom was so self involved that she couldn't consider asking that rando to move the date to a different date? Huh? Its that serious? that specific day or nothing? It keeps going, 4. She kicks her daughter out of the house because she didn't want to take care of her little brother for what seems like this first instance, over a man??? Men making y'all think this behaviour is okay? And not only that, but knowing her daughter had school the next day is crazy to me and the domestic technician tries to justify this say say that she should be lucky the mother didn't hit her teeth out? wow... this is disgusting, is this how you're treating your daughters? The daughter was well within her right to not want to take care of her little brother for nothing else but principle, as a parent, it should be your responsibility to ensure your child feels respected so that they know what a respectful relationship with other people looks like. This was a long rant but i didn't think the storyline was going to go in the direction it did, but i suppose this was early 2010's black tv, when black parents doing whatever they wanted was applauded
