- Taurean Prince’s 8-8 3pt FG’s tonight marks the 8th time in NBA History where a player went 8-8 or better from 3.
Taurean Prince notched a season-high 35 points and a career-high 8 3PM for the Minnesota Timberwolves as they defeat the New York Knicks, 140-134. Mike Conley (24 points, 11 assists) and Rudy Gobert (16 points, 7 rebounds) added a combined 40 points for the Timberwolves in the victory. Julius Randle tallied a career-high 57 points (career-high tying 8 3PM) for the Knicks. The Timberwolves improve to 36-37, while the Knicks fall to 42-31.

I’ll start by saying this. These guys are all pros. Everyone thinks they kno ball. If you knew ball. You would know that at least 70% of the leagues players are capable of doing this given the right amount of touches and shot attempts. A lot of these guys are told to stick to their roles so they don’t force shots. If prince was given the green light, I’m positive he could average a 20/5/5 split. But he’s never been given that opportunity until the guy ahead of him gets hurt.
The key is if the team is winning while you put up those said stats

🔸 Rudy Gobert has been a disaster.
🔸 Anthony Edwards, the team's only bright spot, is in a walking boot and out indefinitely.
🔸 Walker Kessler and Jarred Vanderbilt, who Minnesota shipped out in the Gobert trade, have absolutely thrived with their new teams.
🔸 T-Wolves inexplicably traded D'Angelo Russell for 35-year-old Mike Conley Jr. and Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who’s shooting 37% FG.
🔸 Even with their current underwhelming team, they still have a huge payroll thanks to Towns, Gobert and Conley earning $95M a year combined.
Kat was out allowing ant to become the alpha of the team.
Gonert has made the timberwolves a top defensive team.
Ant will be healthy and probably needed a break.
