Best Steel Ball Using for Slingshot Rifle:
The best steel ball is from 9 to 12MM steel ball
the metal releaser supports from 8 to 13.5MM ball,
when target is over 25 meters
10MM ball is the best, less 25 meters, 9mm ball is good.
when be in actual hunting purpose,
if possible, please get quality class is at G10 or G100 steel ball for more accurate shooting
(1) when use the slingshot rifle to play metal fishing arrow, before tap your trigger, please keep the fishing reel is open, also need to keep fish line is smooth, Line can not be knotted.
(2) please double check this carefully, otherwise the fish arrow will not be launched out and it is probably to jump up.
(3) after arrow reloaded, please do not point muzzle to any people. once arrow fly out, the fishing line becomes a wing to hold the bottom of arrow. Rube Goldberg lives. A tad bit over designed for what you're trying to use it for, maybe mount the reel upside down just in front of the trigger. That'll keep it from being too top heavy, and rotating. Someone mentioned a sled on the rails to improve accuracy, of the dart. Thought about shortening everything, and using heaver bands? Think you've a good start, but don't over design.

Heat shrink tube is probably less abrasive than zip ties. Feed the loop through the heat shrink and then install. Pull the heat shrink tight and set. Or even another rubber band, probably easier.
